i do blame those movies. ever since them bumblebee has never been the same. and i noticed, why yellow? some of the most popular things kids like are yellow.
pikachu and bumblebee for example. IMO the last decent bumblebee was TFA bee, cartoon wise.

im not sure what you mean. :???:

I hate to say this but.... Ladies and Gentlemen, Bumblebee is finally getting rare here.

Knockout is a bigger shelfwarmer.

Lucky you!

I just realised I typed "Never". I meant "later"... I read it a few times before I found my own mistake...

here I thought it was because of the fact that all those stores will never sell all those Bees and so they'll NEVER get any of the other waves in.

in response doubledealer93, are you suggesting to a full line of tf figures all painted yellow to boost sales?

imagine megatron and ironhide as all yellow. ratchet and soundwave bright and cheery.

although it did partially work for starscream. lol

biggest fear is if the market is flooded with non selling figures, retailers will cancel shipments.

texas has "remember the almo"

i say "remember mercedes alt mode soundwave"

the last wave of dotm which include que, leadfoot, skywarp, soundwave, vortex deluxe figures and the human alliance soundwave was cancelled by retailers because of lacking dotm figure sales.

i havent even seen the newest prime figures yet!

i wonder if retailers realize its because of the bumblebees. i really hope the prime toy line does not suffer the same fate as DOTM.

No this is Hasbro's fault for not realizing Bumblebee isn't as in demand as he was 5 years ago. The movies made him popular, but that doesn't explain why Hasbro isn't keeping up with what figures are actually being sold.

First edition Bulkhead just became a shelfwarmer. Not my pictures, but taken by ppl I know on their hunt.

Notice the proportion of the other PRID figures to bee, and the ammount of FE bulkheads.

Well, I just went to TRU and there were more FE than PRID... All the vehicons are getting snapped up, but arcee and cliff remains everywhere.

Trouble is, knowing the corporate retail mind, they won't make any distinction whatsoever. Transformers are Transformers as far as they are concerned, and if it doesn't sell, it gets pulled and no more are ordered.

I think Hasbro has finally managed to successfully engineer another TF crash. :-(

I'd love to see that many FE Bulkheads. There'd be at least one less when I left the store, meanwhile the abundance of Bees...grr.

I was a Target near Harrisburg Pa yesterday. They had 13 figures in deluxe size or larger. 11 of them were Bumblebee.

Annoying

So US has Bee warmers and Singapore has Bulk warmers and Romania has Bee hungry? Is it Hasbro idiot or the retail stores idiot? Or both.

so do i. if he is so popular then why are there 18 damn BBs in one store? and the stock stays like that for months. damn kids........

My kids want Cyberverse Cliffjumper and there are none. My kids want Cyberverse Knock Out and there are none. My kids want Cyberverse Breakdown and there are none. So don't blame them. It's not their fault. They don't even get to the toy isle as much as we do.

Your children don't factor in with the norms. They have a collector for a parent. They have an inside tip.
When I was a kid, I didn't know what was coming out until:

a) I had seen it in person

b) There was advertisement for it.

I have realized that the modernization of America has made it more difficult for children to gain wages so they can absorb some of these accursed swarm of Bees.

You see, with the introduction of methods like machining to accomplish a goal faster we have lost too many skilled workers, like the children.
Back in the old days, you could work those little rugrats in the fields
pickin' potatoes and bean pods. Earnin' their worth for just one Bumblebee.
Now at the current rate for a Bumblebee divided by 10 cents a day for toiling in the fields they should have enough for Bumblebee in about 130 days(that's with no days off  ) + a bit more to pay taxes.
BUT THESE KIDS AREN'T EVEN WORKING!!!
How can we expect the economy to pick up when we are simultaneously selling these hot items but denying those who would buy the opportunity for capital [-( we can't stand for this. If we want these Bees removed WE MUST PUT THESE NIMBLE, ENERGETIC YOUTHS TO WORK!
Down with machines!

Ironic that to buy the toys we love, we must do what is right and destroy that which we love :(

Discharge, are you RPing someone as in touch with reality as the Hasbro execs who keep putting all these BBs out to stores?

So, you would disagree?
If I'm not gonna buy it. And you're not gonna buy it. The purchase lands on the children which these toys were made for.
As the internet will prove kids love Bumblebee, kids want to be Bumblbee:
Image
(Their costumes are kind of weak though, they don't even have battle masks, sheesh!)
If these Bumblebees are to move from the toys shelves to the lives of the kids,
well, I think we know what to do. >:oP

If you knew that the children could have this:
Image
wouldn't you give them the means?

I'd rather just pay some kids to go into a shop and smash all the BBs they can find. So long as they're young enough they're not going to do any time.
