Think of him as being more of a "pirate king" than a captain, and what animal is known for being the "king of beasts"? ;)

What's mroe refreshing is that, depsite being a pirate, he speech is that of a normal person, devoid of any and all pirate lingo like "Arrgh" or "shiver me timbers" or using "be" in place of "is" and "are".

His known crew members thus far consist of Brimstone, Cannonball, Sandstorm, and ex-Decepticon Axer. Their ship is called the Tidal Wave.

At BotCon 2011, Hasbro showed us a few images from within the Binder, in which we saw Brimstone and maybe Cannonball (don't remember if we saw Sandstorm, but 'm pretty sure we didn't see Axer). From memory, Brimstone was based off of Cybertron Brimstone, he at least is known to turn into some bird-like beast. I don't remember what Cannonball looked like, if they did show him, that is. All I can remember is Brimstone.

I also can't be the only one who made that connection, especially after he turned out to be blue and white.
I remembered him too, but the color scheme first reminded me of PCC Searchlight and then Cybertron Snarl.

Fun fact: That kind of speech pattern was introduced by actor Robert Newton, in the 1954 Australian film adaptation of Treasure Island, portraying the part of Long John Silver.

Axer should be a motorbike, though, right?

Given that he was at one point a 'Con, probably. Though he could have switched up his altmode to blend in with the crew.

Not all pirates looked liked Johnny Depp or Captain Hook. Jussayin' folks who think Thundertron isn't "pirate" enough.

Complete with a Thundercracker. When's the last time Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp were in the same toyline? Aside from Classics, (which technically, only Skywarp and Starscream were in. Thundercracker was released in it's succeeding line; Generations), it was Cybertron. And they weren't even the same mold!

I know, Skywarp, Starscream, and Thundercracker have also been released in the movie-verse, but they were either in separate installment's toylines or exclusive to Japan (thank you, DOTM Skywarp :BANG_HEAD: )

I just want a line where Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Starscream are the same mold in the same line in the same U.S; right the same now!

Well, technically, Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp were all identical molds in the Armada line (Skywarp was rocking a head fin though). And Ramjet even got a turn in that mold, albeit as an exclusive. Prior to Classics/Henkai/Generations/whatevs, that was the closest we got to a complete set of Elite Seekers and Coneheads.

The Henkei! Henkei! toyline (unless you count "Gentei! Gentei!" as a separate sub-toyline)

Exactly, we haven't gotten all of them together in one line together since Cybertron (as well as Henkei & Classics), and I wonder why.

That toyline was still called "Dark of the Moon" (only the film itself got renamed "Darkside Moon") and PrimeStriker already acknowledged Takara's DOTM Skywarp. Both were the same toyline, but one country had exclusives that the other didn't (as is common practice).

Ok, then I'll cheat with Animated, with Starscream and Skywarp as Voyagers, and Thundercracker as an Activator.

honestly, I saw a blue lion with robot mode facial hair and thought Leoric from Visionaries! but the Battle Beast is good thinking too.

What about the Walmart exclusive ROTF Skywarp using the 2007 movie voyager Starscream mold? Not the same line, but it's Screamer, Thundercracker, and Skywarp in the same mold.

I already acknowledged that. I'm saying that 2 of the seekers are released in one line and then we have to wait 1-4 years for the last one, as we did with Skywarp.
