Is $15 a good price for Optimal Optimus with minor wear?

Im assuming you mean US$15. I would say yes, but I love the figure to pieces, he is huge, and quite hardy too. Make sure you get the missiles though, as well as all the arm guard pieces.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

It is kind of strange as much as everyone likes that figure I have never seen it anywhere for more than $25-$30. But depending on what "minor wear" means that could be a great buy if it is complete.
If I remember correctly I think I paid $20 at Botcon 05 for one in mint condition complete no box. Of course I couldn't believe I found RiD Prime and Magnus for $25 each MiB either. TM2 Dinotbot for $7 loose and TM2 Megs with box for $20. Man that was a good day.

This reminds me of when I got Prime and Magnus in a single auction for $40 total including shipping...MISB. Best deal I ever got on that site.

Well if your a fan of the original then yeah its a great deal, as for me, i wanted the up to date look and cartoon accuracy that came with the 10th anniversary reissue.. you can still find it online on Toys r us .com for like 32.00 and some change.. I'd recommend picking that one up if your really interested in optimus Primal.. to me thats the definitive version..
Here is a comparison:
original optimus primal toy as it was originally released:
Reissue Optimus primal with cartoon accuracy coloring and modified chest as well as other neat adjustments:

If He's comlet and hasn't got to much paint chiped of then it's a good deal.
I got myself on last year to replace my old one and it was just like $10 MISB!
He's still in the box thoe.

Wrong Figure bud. he means this guy:
Totally awesome figure. His Big, his shiny. Whats not to love. If he's complete, and with little crome wear. Then yeah go for it.
Having trashed his X-wing fighter in his last run-in with the Empire, Luke Skywalker now looks for other means of transportation in a nearby planet:

"The man with the ship and the big red button holstered onto his belt that calls a giant fire-breathing lizard, is always the cool one."

Optimal Optimus seems to be a dime a dozen. It's the Beast Machines Primal Prime that's a rare find. I was only able to find a complete/loose one for $45.

I loves my Op Op to bits. He's 100% mint loose, and occupies the right-hand side of my top (ala 'cool') shelf. All on his own. Damn he takes up a lot of room. He's knocked Armada Prime to his doom a few times. Don't like sharing does he?
