Lazerback is a BIG Deluxe figure! Rejoice!

I found all four Wave 1 Deluxe Beast Hunters - Wheeljack, Soundwave, Lazerback, and BB - at TRU in Pennsylvania.

Lazerback is awesome! He's a nice size for a Deluxe! The plastic bubble is like 4 inches deep because he's so big they wouldn't have been able to fit him in a normal Deluxe package! Another sign of Hasbro turning around the trend of shrinking classes.

I passed on the other 3.

Oh, and all TFs were BOGO 50% off. I also got FoC Ultra Magnus.

Lazerback and Wheeljack are the highlights of the first wave. Bumblebee is below average and Soundwave looks like melted plastic.

Anyway, the chaotic Predacon is a recommendation indeed. :APPLAUSE:

Yea I was excited when I saw his packaging, it is so thick. I'm glad Hasbro is going back to bigger toys but am sad at the same time they raised the price again. Eh, mixed feelings..

They can't keep making Deluxes (or any class) the same size AND keep the prices the same. Due to inflation, something's gotta give. I'm fine with price increases that keep pace with inflation, as long as the product remains the same. I'd MUCH rather pay $15 or $16 for figures like Lazerback than pay $12 for figures like FoC Jazz and FoC OP.

Wholeheartedly concurred. I'm very happy w/ the size, feel, and heft of Lazerback. I'm generally only collecting Beasts from this line, and he's very promising start.

Am I the only one who thinks he might make a good Terrorcon Blot(if/when) they decide to recolor? Sure beats a big nose with arms and legs... :-?

The only one that really looks like a G1 Terrorcon to me is Cyberverse Twinstrike and maaaaaybe Predaking at a push. One of the things I really like about Lazorback is that he doesn't look like any other beastformer, and I love his dragon mode.

And it is nice to have a big figure again. After seeing how infuriatingly thin the Generations Combaticons were (even justifiably so for limbs) I'm glad to have a hulking bruiser again.

Lazerback is kind of an RID Bruticus homage.

But they can all be friends. :KREMZEEK:

I like a coordinated color scheme across lines. Aesthetically they are different toys. But together as a monster team that is fine with me...
