Courtesy of the Tagoal blog we have some nice in-hand images of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Prowl and Night Shadow Bumblebee. Prowl is retool/redeco of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Smokescreen and Night Shadow Bumblebee is a straight repaint of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Bumblebee. The full galleries can be found here and here.

Both look really good IMO. Definitely getting Prowl and as I don't yet have a BH Bumblebee, I might just have to pick that one up to.

There was never a doubt I was getting Prowl - this reconfirms my actions.

I can't get excited for the Prowl toy as shown in the photos. It looks like there is too much stark white plastic areas on the toy, especially in alt mode. A bit of extra colour application to pull out some of the sculpted details would make the toy so much better. At least it won't be difficult to repaint it if one is so inclined.

I do like how the head sculpt is based upon the concept art of a Prime version of Prowl.

Prowl looks much nicer than Smokescreen. He comes together a lot better. They even bothered to paint the inside of his thighs black.

Man, that Prowl look BOSS! I'll be sure to buy him along Smokescreen if I ever see them in store.

As for Shadow Strike Bumblebee... That's the one I really want! I'll even pay the full 20$ for it. This is truly MURDERBEE who went beyond the point of no return. DO WANT! I missed the 1st BH Bee. I'm not going to miss this one.

My first thought upon seeing Night Shadow Bumblebee was that he needed a head transplant with my DOTM Murderbee. Sadly, upon checking my BH Bumblebee, it appears as though the ball part of the balljoint is attached to the neck rather than the body.

Still, it does give an interesting look to BH Bumblebee because I unscrewed the face from his head and showed me that Bumblebee's eyes are attached to the back of his head rather than his face. So now I have Bumblebee's face without eyes sitting here on my desk, and the back of his head, WITH eyes, still attached to the body, It's creepy, I like it.

So yeah, gonna have to pick up BH NS Bumblebee here. I have an idea that involves glow in the dark paint or stickers or something. Or maybe pick up some red plastic "gemstones" at a craft store...

Also I think I'll need that Prowl. I hope they do a blue version of deluxe Smokescreen too, because I would be fine having all three and calling the blue one Bluestreak.

The one thing -- the only thing -- I dislike about Prowl is the fact that the headlight colors change in between the modes. Other than that, I think it's good.

On the note of Bee, I never really liked that head sculpt anyway. Either way, I won't get it.

Hmm. Interesting. I like Prowl less than I should but Bumblebee more than I should. I'll probably end up getting them both. Lord knows I won't be buying much else from the tail-end of the Beast Hunters line.

I've said it before, but damn I would love a Barricade repaint from that prowl.

From his concept artwork, I'd say Vehicon is probably a better retool choice for the guy, though he looks more to deserve his own mold than Prowl did.

Not saying that it's a bad choice, but wasn't this design supposed to transform into an SUV-like vehicle? Honestly, given Barricade's history throughout the entirety of Transformers, I agree that he is more deserving of his own mold.

WANT PROWL!!!

I was intially set on getting this Bee as well, but... though the colors are right, the mold is just too non-show-accurate enough for me to really, fully want this toy 100%. I might still get it, but it's now become less of a priority.

So, you dont want that Bee because it's not show accurate, yet you want a character that is not in the show at all.
Interesting. :-?

I didn't say I don't want Bee. I just said I want it less.

As for Prowl, though not in the show, he exists in its continuity and is accurate enough to his sole existing TF: Prime-related CG model.

it just seems like prime BB toys have been consulting with dark powers, and become more murderous every time.

I'd prefer if they kept the smokescreen head for Prowl. I love most versions of Prowl but I don't like the visor look they're obviously homaging animated Prowl with. Don't get me wrong I love animated Prowl as a character just not the visor look. Plus that smirk seems wrong on a Prowl.
