Our very own Va’al is, as we type this, checking out the UK Toy Fair. We will continue to bring you updates on what he sees as he sees them, with pictures and descriptions.

At the first stall is Paladone. They are displaying a variety of collectibles for the 30th anniversary. There are two series, one that will be rolled out in April/May; one to be rolled out in October. There will be 30 mini figurines from three generations: G1, Prime, movie (Dark of the Moon.)

There will be 15 characters per wave; each one in blind pack with lenticular card. The cards will combine together into a first generation poster of Megs or Optimus. Pricing for the blind pack is £2, £2.50 for bubble pack, with mini stand included. They will also released as 5 packs.

But the figurines aren’t all. Also on display are a heat activated mug (featuring an Autobot logo with glasses and moustache which disappear when hot liquid is poured in), a hard foam build kit, G1 character pencil eraser set, notebook, water bottle, car magnet (not shown), egg holder and toast cutter Optimus!

Take a look at the images (and updates as we get them!) posted below:

UPDATE:Subject to Change
From Winning Moves: We may see the following games available in the next year. They are unofficial and subject to change, but we are hearing they are possible: Monopoly, Risk, Connect 4, Top Trumps - Saga edition (would be heavily based on the four movies and /or G1 animation, and similar to Star Wars trilogy edition products. And if you take a look at the box pictured, you'll note that there is even a picture of Drift featured.

UPDATE:
Check out these R/C toys, on display from Nikko:
Word is that there will be five figures. Two that transform will be Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. They'll have lights and sounds; voicechips along with transformation noises. They are expected to retail for $59.99 and $49.99, respectively. They will be boxed in robot mode.

The helicopter is said to be a character, but there is no name at this time.

The other two RC cars shown are Lockdown and Bumblebee, and will not transform.

So that's what they meant by "Prime Minifigures." I was hoping it was something else. DAMMIT!

I'm still going to get them, though. They look fun and cool. :P

Also, looks like Wheeljack & Shockwave are also getting toys, since they were not previously listed. On top of that, the paper below lists Hardshell, Soundwave, and Bumblebee!

Though they're not what I wanted, I'm still going to collect them all! :KREMZEEK:

Are these the same minifigs that Goldy International announced earlier? Kinda disappointed, but might still get them since they do kinda look sweet.

But I'll be getting that mug, that thing is awesome.

Not much new here aside from the figurines, but here's hoping for more goodies to come.

Not really excited about those minifigures, but seeing the G1 merch is creating a wave of nostalgia. Awesome. :D

All this is great Hasbro, but what about those Masterpiece figures? Those would really fit in for the 30th anniversary. Those minifigs look neat, but I pretty much have them already and they transform, they're called Botshots. That mug looks awesome

Takara makes the Masterpieces, not Hasbro.

And the ones that are already out that Hasbro hasn't released yet would require licenses from the companies whose cars the altmodes are based on, and their smaller sizes make them trickier to fit into Hasbro's size class/pricepoint system.

The reason Takara can get around both is because the licenses are easier for them to acquire than they are for Hasbro, and Takara doesn't have a set size class/pricepoint system like Hasbro does.

Also, I wonder if that's a mask that Drift is wearing or if it's his real face. :-? Either way, he looks really cool.

And, finally, we have confirmation in the OP that the Lamborghini Aventador is Lockdown.

I am shocked and appalled by the lack of actual Transformers. Shocked and/or appalled. >:oP

Nope, nothing allowed in terms of toys. It's all for the NYC Toy Fair!

Drift looks kinda weird compared to other Movie bots, but ironically closer to a more traditional TF. I dread to see the proper toy of him, though. All 4 wheels end up on the shins, and the only other part that looks even remotely like it was part of a car is his chest.

Granted, me personally, I'm just going to get the Kreon anyways...

Why, Hasbro - do you keep using the Takara G1 boxart and not the US version? It shouldn't annoy me. But it does. :|

:BANG_HEAD: The more I look at those movie toys, the more I hate them.

The first movie trilogy toys were my favourite; DOTM were perfect. But the layout of this AOE line is too China oriented, too... anthro, with human body shape as metal was a costume for a human being... No, they're simply UGLY.

I am more interested in the movies news, I like Drift but he feels a little much humanoid.
But his design is alright, nothing shocking , but I am really liking the New Optimus and new Bumblebee, sorry if they won`t have accurate toys... :HEADHURTS:

They're hard foam kits, panels that slot into each other. I'll see if I can take a better look today.

That G1 megs box art pic is for the Valentines Day cards that are out now I think, it looks like it pretty much.. I bought a box at Kmart the other day to check them out. They are pretty neat, you get 35 tattoos in the box too.. All the art is vintage box art except for bumblebees art..

While it may be the third day of the 2014 UK Toy Fair, it is our second day of live coverage from the floor. We'll be updating you as Seibertron's own Va'al walks the floor and takes in all of the cool new stuff that we’ll see premiered today.

Image

First up are offerings from IMC Toys. Available in either Optimus Prime or Bumblebee, will be intercom masks, walkie talkies, and a laser tag gun and chest pad set. Also available will be an Optimus Prime mask with a sound chip and effects. From an interesting poster inside of IMC Toys’ stall—Transformers: Age of Extinction will be the first film in a new trilogy, with the next one due out in 2017, and an animated series to be released in 2014.

More will be posted, as we know it.

RUMOR:
A reliable source at the Toy Fair has informed us that the grey cab-over truck we've seen pictured for months now is none other than Ultra Magnus.

UPDATE:
The following pictures come from the company Character. Pictured are “mashable” Transformers ball-like toys, called MashEms. Six characters are available (we can pick out Drift, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Lockdown, and Grimlock), and will be blind packed in a plastic capsule. There will be slingshot launcher available in both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee variants. Two series will be available; one for Prime and one for Age of Extinction. Also pictured are Bumblebee Rumble Fists, made of soft material and with sound effects, and sparring bags. Sparring bags were shown in both Optimus Prime and Lockdown variants.
