IF the villains are indeed the Quintessons (which isn't for certain) then it would be a neat title. However, non-fans, or maybe even newer fans, wouldn't get it, unless the Quintessons actually had 5 faces.

That's why I left out the number in the title.

I don't think any TF live-action movie thus far has ever had a number. it's always been Transformers - Dark of the Moon, Transformers - Age of Extinction, etc.

Unless you mean actually calling the sequel itself, "Five Faces of Death."

'Transformers 5: Faces of darkness' would be hilariously sneaky.

"Transformers: Faces of Darkness" is all I'm looking for. And just know it's the 5th movie.

Actually Transformers: Five Faces of Darkness sounds kinda cool. Nice way to hide number in title.

But again: Transformers without Michael Bay sounds cool all by itself. So title isn't that important. But I'm sure that they figure somthing out.

Fellow Seibertronians, Dr.Va'al - who is on quite the roll today - has pointed us towards an article that reveals that Paramount has hired cinematographer Jonathan Sela to work on Transformers 5. Jonathan Sela has previously done work for projects such as 'John Wick', 'A Good Day To Die Hard', and 'Max Payne' as well as the TV show 'Limitless' in the pilot episode. So what do you think of this addition to the movie crew? Think it'll work out for the better, or not so much? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

You may have also seen him in the 2014 movie Neighbors, which is where the still below comes from.

lol, the notion of taking a trip to Detroit for any reason is pretty bad, but to do it in the hopes you might catch a glimpse of a movie being made... lolololol I'll stay north of 8 mile road, thanks.

I'm surprised so many are even considering taking the deadpan seriously :P It's a sadly neglected form of comedy.

VioMeTriX wrote:she doesn't even know anything about transformers, they should give the role to someone who knows something
a) How can you possibly confirm that? b) How would general Transformers knowledge influence an actor here? It's not like being able to list Soundwave's cassettes would have any impact on character acting.

A case could maybe be made for a VA voicing one of the TFs benefiting from knowledge of the franchise, although the only TFs with personalities similar to previous depictions are already voiced by legacy VAs.
