According to Empire magazine, Peter Cullen has signed on to do three Transformers movies. Also, Optimus Prime is now "more hip, more colloquial", apparently.
Does this mean we're getting a trilogy?

"Yo Homies, the Primeboyz in da house twizzlin' da shizzle!"
Am I hip yet? No? How about now?
OP had better not get too hip, or his whole character falls apart. He's a square father figure, not your best friend.

My thoughts exactly. Then again, Bay's track record hasn't given me any high hopes about this film, either.

Just because its a sequal doesnt mean they have the same Director. Xmen 1 and 2 were done by Brian Singer, but X3 was done by a different person. So dont have dispair over sequals yet.

Indeed. As I have stated many times, Just because the designs look rubbish (an opinion I have changed after seeing the finished articles btw) doesnt mean the story and action scenes will be rubbish. Bring on July 4th!!!

I concur. Along with the negatives I already have my list of positives. I'm very keen to see this.

Prime's already pretty damn colloquial in the cartoon. "Lay it on me, man' anyone?

Its from an ep, but I forget which one. He also says
Fat Chance, (fathead) I may have made that last bit up, but he definatly said the first bit
A booby trap that actually traps boobs
And a few others which I forget.
