Scammed by frenzyrumble: Beware!

All,
I am from Singapore & just wanted to share my experience with this customizer, frenzyrumble. This guy promised the custom will be done within 6 months. After transferring the deposit to him, he went silent. When i asked him for update, he gave excuses like he was in an accident or he was moving. The whole thing dragged on for 1.5 years. Finally i gave him the drop dead date & as expected, nothing to show when the date came.
He agreed for a full refund but there's a catch, there is no specific date. I will be placed in the refund list & then, wait. Again. As i couldn't agree with this arrangement, i gave him 1 week period & he threatened me back with legal charges for the losses incurred. WTF?!

So please do not engage this guy for any customizing project. Google it & you will find other's experiences with this guy (i should have done that before engaging him, sigh). I have work with other customizers (forgottenforest, Grinkrystal, frogDNA & sabretooth) & they all kept their end of the deal. This guy really gave me a sour experience.

Sorry but just want to share out my experience to prevent others from falling prey to this scam artist.
Thanks.

I felt an obligation to reply after reading this to share my experience with FrenzyRumble to everyone who is considering dealing with him.

TDLR version: I paid him $2300 in full for a Dinobot combiner Extinction in Oct. 2012 and to this date (Jan. 2015) he has refunded me $2200. $100 remains. He gave many excuses for the delay for the commission and my eventual refund over the course of 2+ years. Radio silence unless you nag him for payment.

Longer version:

He initially offered via Facebook an opening to commission a Dinobot combiner (his infamous Extinction), after he claimed that he and the initial commissioner had a fallout, leaving him with only 70% completion. He offered it for $2300 and I accepted; he requested to pay as gift via Paypal to save on fees, etc. I was hesitant at first, but I took the risk, thinking that this customizer seemed to be a classy guy and is (was?) very popular in the TF community. My mistake was that I paid him in full -- HUGE MISTAKE ON MY PART.

This was October 2012 and he stated that I would have it in my hands by the end of that year. End of the year came and went and my figure was nowhere to be completed as he gave excuses about his eventual divorce and financial issues. After delays after delays, I eventually gave him a hard date of May 2013 for completion. May 2013 rolled by and I demanded a full refund. Of course, he stated he continued to have financial issues and that he would have to pay me in installments? WTF?!

It is now Jan. 2015 and he has about $100 remaining to repay out of the $2300 that I paid him back in Oct. 2012 (2+ years later). Again, my error was initially trusting him and paid him in full -- No one to blame for that but me. Over the course of these 2+ years, I had to constantly nag him for payment or even an email reply. There were times that 2 to 3 months would go by and I would not hear from him UNLESS I contacted him again.

I have Paypal payment confirmations and all of my email correspondence to show everything that transpired. I am not here to slander him, but simply to make the community aware what I had to deal with and hopefully, more people will come forward with their experiences with him. Based on what I have read here and other negative feedbacks on Google, this guy seemed to have a track record of using your money to finance his pockets to pay his bills by "promising" commissions that would lead to delays or nothing at all.

You know the saying, "ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK".

Well, You have been warned.

Not sure, but I know he is banned from tfw2005.com, probably for reasons similiar to my experience with him. You could simply google "Frenzy Rumble feedback" and read the various and similiar reviews from others.
