At any rate, I haven't even decided if I'm going to keep the one I bought or sell it. Well, if you don't find one buy the next show, PorQPine, I'll probably sell it to you or trade it to you for something.

Thanks man, that would be great.

It is a possibility that they may be htf, or not. But I do think that Hasbro has learned their lesson with Reissues, considering how they clogged shelves for so long. Aside from the very first wave of Prime, Magnus, and Hot Rod, which were being bought by the case, the rest was a disaster of overproduction and poor pricing. Even for exclusives, they were everywhere. So I highly doubt we'll see rows of Soundwave around for 4 yrs straight.

It's just always the early release time that gets me jumpy, precisely because you never know if a release is going to be scarce or by-the-plenty.

If they don't have Soundwave out by the weekend, I think that I'll just stop going there. Bleh to them.

And one sighting: the Canton Target has the Magnus/Skywarp sets out.

Everyone should be sure to pick up a ToyFare next week, it is supposed to be a TF-focused issue, w/pics of the movie toys and everything.

mmm ... ireland recently overtook germany in per capita drinking i believe. they do love their beers. i have a small sw collection of troopers. but they keep on releasing more and more of them all the time. i can't imagine being a star wars completist. it would drive you mad.

it's hard to imagine those reissues clogging the shelves. ionacus, most of the time those go for pretty cheap at the cons. as opposed to the japanese bookstyles.

soundwave looks like he's going to be problematic to get. but it's still early. toysrus.com cannot keep him in stock at all.

Nothing new to report really other than my Transformer's Collectors Club exclusives came as well as Hasbro Re-Issue Thundercracker.

I also got a notice from BBTS saying 6" RiD Optimus Prime, Cheetor and The Fallen are in my pile of loot.

I find it somewhat funny that the box for Soundwave talks about how desired a piece he is, and what a fan favorite he is, and then says that it is an exact replica of the original toy...

Umm, no it's not you big liars!!!

Yes I have to admit to reading Toyfare (and Lee's and Action Figure Monthly)... I also found it interesting that as soon as we hear the rumor that Frank Welker has not even been offered a part in the movie, Lee's reported that he would be the voice of Megatron in it...

Fallen and Cheetor are on the way.

AFM has a HUGE splash page of the Starscream and Prime protoform toys...

haha. huge splash of the protoforms? that's the sound they make before they are flushed away

a listing of shs wave 3 can be found here:
http://www.toybiz.com/showassort.htm?id ... tus=ACTIVE

i think those came out. it's wave 4 that had the limited release and is commanding the big bucks.

Well, still no Soundwave, but I did find the new Sig 6 Commandos toady at the Taylor WM. Picked up Grand Slam, Frontal Assault Duke, and Razor Ninja Storm Shadow. Left Snake Eyes, figured I could get him another time. The case ratio is:

Grand Slam x2
Razor Ninja Storm Shadow x2
Frontal Assault Duke x1
Air Blade(?) Snake Eyes x1

And they changed the color of the foot lockers from that bluish color to silver...sweet.

And I also found another Hasbro ML1 Planet Hulk w/ the silver arm!! Didin't think that I would see another of those, since they were such an early release change. COOL!

TT, did you want that Cobra Firefly? And I still have a Magnus/Skywarp set if you want another.

OK guys I have a confession. Once the TF Attacktix went on clearance at TRU, I started buying them by the boat-load. Because one thing I like more than TF's, is clearance TF's. So much so that I'm 2 short for the booster pack set. I'm missing:

Alt Mode Prime
Scorponok

I have alot of extras if anyone's interested in trading.

Ha! You should bring them up some time while I'm working so we can play a game.

I'm pretty sure I have a Scorponok. I may have an Alt-mode Prime, too, but I can't seem to find the box that I put them in. I'll let you know.

Whew, just finished the semester. It was a long five weeks, believe it or not. One more class in the spring and I'm done with my apprenticeship courses. After that I just have to complete my required hours and remaining tasks. Almost there...I should be graduating right around contract time in Aug/Sept. Let's just hope they don't decide to lay me off. :P

I got bored so I picked up Cybertron Smokescreen and Excellion. I opened Excellion, he's not a bad toy - the arms could be more playable though.

I also snagged a Spider-Man Origin's Venom. He's really, really sweet.

Plus I pre-ordered the G1 Minibot keychains from BBTS.

I finally found 6Tit Rodimus yesterday at WM Livonia, he's very cool.

Man, talk about information overload with all the movie toy related madness. If not anything else, it should be very interesting especially this guy.

TRANSFORMERS MOVIE ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE
(Approximate Retail Price: $89.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Fall 2007)

"Fans of TRANSFORMERS will love seeing BUMBLEBEE come to life on the big screen and this fall, they can experience the ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE action figure, which is among the most realistic and technical TRANSFORMERS toys ever. The impressively styled Chevrolet Camaro Concept car changes into the beloved AUTOBOTS character, which stands an imposing 14 inches tall. BUMBLEE will “come to life” with robot animatronics action in both car and robot modes. Working headlights, battle sounds, and music, including Devo’s “Whip It”, all add to the interactive experience."

Are you ready for that Tony? Who plans on buying Ult. BB? What are you guys targeting from the movie lines?
