I just managed to get myself to open FE Optimus.
Oh. My. Spark.
(And Takara FE Deluxe Megatron arrived today, too!)

Further proof that my local Tesco has become a dumping ground for old stock since being downgraded. Walked in there tonight and the shelves are littered with about another case worth of DotM deluxes compared to the weekend with no sign of Prime.

More good news from Sainsburys! If you live near a bigger store, last night's incoming promotions has a pleasant change for us Transformers fans: A whole promo end of Transformers at 25% off! My store hasn't got the ends until our refit and extension is completed next month, but we are receiving the stock already! I believe it's the Kreo sets, Bot Shots and all stocked sizes of what our tills are calling the "TRA3" range.
As I said last week, our system doesn't differentiate between DotM Deluxes and TF Prime Revealers, and I can confirm this morning the same is true across all comparable classes. ie, Prime Powerizers scan as DotM Voyagers, and (as I feared) the Cyberverse Legions and Commanders are counted as the same product whether they have the DotM EAN (barcode) or the Prime one. This does mean any store lucky enough to have their Prime toys in now has them at 25% off!
From my point of view, this is brilliant! We didn't get any DotM Voyagers in on the Isle of Wight as we were too small so they weren't included in our range, but with our refit nearing completion we have got the stock in. I had the arduous task of picking a selection of stock to put out on the section in lieu of the promotional space:

Noice. Will have a look-se at that when i am next in a sainsburys, try and get m some old DOTM shizz, and possibly venture into prime...POSSIBLY. :p
but wow! from what i recall when i was little of toyshops in general on the island, or at least in ryde where we always went, they were stupidly far behind on everything.
*remembers that sainsburys isn't a toyshop* *facepalm*...

Because of a pricing error on their shelves my clever sister just got me Prime RID Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Wheeljack for under £12 combined at our local Sainsburys!!
Seems that they have some 70% discount on other figures but because of the way they displayed it the Prime figures were included, she argued her case and bingo, £3.78 per figure.
Nice one sis, looking forward to getting home now.
Edit: Now that I am home I can say that I like Wheeljack and Cliffjumper but Bumbleebee isnt great. The large piece his head is mounted on wont go flat against the bonnet as sticks up a bit which looks odd. His feet are really lazy and look bad but for £3.78 I wont complain (any more than I already have).

It feels like a while since I've been round these parts... But I stopped getting emails telling me when peeps post in here.
Anyway, I got a prime cyberverse megatron from my sainsbury's the other day as all their prime stuff is indeed 25% off. Well, I say "prime" stuff, but all the deluxes were DOTM.
As an update, here's a couple of recent reviews I done did:

So, Battle Beasts then. I've been picking up a few recently and stumbled across this
http://www.littlerubberguys.com/forums/ ... opic=91523A new line inspired by the 80s Battle Beasts. I'm looking at pledging for a couple of painted sets to qualify for the bonus brown lion repaint, just waiting to see if I can get a package price from the guy responsible. Assuming the pledge target is reached and these go into production that means I should have a spare set of 4 that I'll be able to do for cheaps sometime around July, you guys get first dibs.

Well. I'd love to be able to psot on here and say how epic it was that i got fireburst prime from tesco for £9.00 cos they had bucketloads left, and how awesome a figure he is. Unfortunately, I can't, bcause later yesterday evening like a while aftr i'd first opened him, i played a bit with the highly-addictive-and-amazing mechtech, and then "krrk kachak klik". The gears are now completly f****d over. They're misaligned, as in like one has moved on a few teeth from the other, and although i can re-move them back, it sems there is no position for them to be in that is correct...Glaaarb. However, as a figur he is awesome, albiet a litle fiddly to transform, and the same with cmdr powerglide, epic but slightly tricky to get right. And the hinge on one of the weapons is so stiff it is unreal...

I quite like my fireburst prime, once you get that mold in-hand it really isn't as bad as it looks. EPIC LEG CHUNKS FTW!

Same, except I never even got it into axe mode. Fooked up gears right out of the box. I have every confidence that once I've dug out my precision screwdrivers and taken the thing apart I can get everything to align but it certainly is a pain I could have lived without.
edit- And I've just spotted some bad paint scuffs on Sentinel, again, STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! It's QC like this that's just fuelling my desire to pick up non TF lines. I've not had a single paint issue with any of Bandai's Thundercats figures and my current mini figure fixation is likely to cause a lot of TF budget to be diverted to vintage Battle Beasts, Monster in my Pocket, M.U.S.C.L.E. Men, and loathe though I am to say it Gormiti.

So you're not sure about Prime huh AP?
Well, I've got a bit of advice for you. When animated came out, and I must have been only a bit older than you are now, I looked at them and thought, I didn't like the style, I thought I'd been a fan long enough to know (and feel like "a collector") that they weren't worth getting. I was wrong. I regret not getting the figures when they were out and turning my nose up at it.
So, I pass on this piece of wisdom to you, in the hope you do not fall into the same kind of situation I did then. Give Prime a go after all you can't knock it til you've tried it.
The figures are great (I've got FE bee, cliff and RID megs and some cyberverses) and I'm sure you'd like em as much as your DOTM stuff.

Oh I'm sure I'd like them, I'm just...well, not a fan of the style really XD.
It's more the whole aesthetic, i mean, I really wasn't a fan of the animated aesthetic, (although there were some which were just cool), and I have to say I'm not that fond of the prime one either. But as i say, I'll probably give it a shot, especially the cyberverse, cos I'm a bit of a ledgends junkie lol. I also like how Arcee has wings. It's just cool.

Got Fireburst's axe fixed. Simple enough job, but a quick couple of pointers to anyone else needing to realign the gears. Firstly pay attention to which screw came from where, 3 of them are the same length but one is shorter. Secondly while it may seem sensible to try to put it together in axe mode to make sure it's all lined up it isn't possible because that is when the tension is on the spring, which won't stay in place without the two outer halves being tightly together, put it together in gun mode with the trigger in it's outermost position and it should work just fine. Took me ten minutes, could do it in about three now that I know what I'm doing with it should it go again.
And Va'al, yes I was aware that Gormiti started out in Italy. The first 2 series were Italian only, with the 2nd version sculpts of the original cast forming the first wave for the international releases. Now did you know that the designs and colour codings for the different peoples seem to have been ripped off from/heavily influenced by an obscure Japanese mini figure line called Fistful of Aliens and the European (Italian distributed) KOs of that line that made up the 3rd Series of the Exogini brand in 1998 (the first 2 series of Exogini from about 10 years before that KOing M.U.S.C.L.E. Men (and the Japanese line that spawned them) and N.I.N.J.A. Mites respectively. I have been researching mini figure lines quite obsessively just recently.
Now, quick question to all. Does anyone on here have any Monster in my Pockets, M.U.S.C.L.E.s or similar figures kicking about gathering dust or packed away in an attic from many moons ago that they would be willing to part with? With some exceptions these are generally pretty cheap on the secondary market so while I can offer a modest finders fee it won't be silly money. If I get a lot from anyone that has got a few rarer pieces in (and I'm still figuring out myself just what figures in what colours are hardest to come by) I will try to make sure that you see at least market value for any more desirable pieces. I've also still got a voyager Animated Starscream, Target Spacecase and a couple of Gen Thundercrakers in package if anyone was wanting to trade for their old little rubber guys.

I used to have a couple, but not any more, sorry..
And yes, I did know about the origins of Gormiti, but only up to Exogini.
Cool sauce!

I thought you guys might be interested to know that. Toys R Us have 25% of TF Prime figures.
I thought this very funny as they don't have Prime figures in.
I queried this with an assistant and was directed to a display at the door which did have an assortment of Prime Cyberverse (legends) figures:
Bumblebee
Ratchet
Cliffjumper
Arcee
Decepticlone
Also the assistant beleives that the discount is for DOTM figures as well.
