Happy 4th all!

Saving money (paying down debt) due to lack of new stuff, which is good, I suppose.

The Asia exclusive toys may be making some sort of US appearance (Legends, deluxes, voyagers). It's a theory running around since Robotkingdom was told to remove their pre-orders, I believe.

Perhaps something coming out at SDCC?

And Ryan wants to firmly stay 3rd party free for news. News was becoming SO 3rd party dominated, and his passion is HASBRO brand Transformers, not just transforming toys.

I was pretty surprised to see all the things in works...you can get it over at tfw(2000 something..2005? or 9? I don't know, it's bookmarked) I saw over at bbts they have articulated movie leader prime hands for just over 30 bucks. that's actually good for articulated hands but I just can't pull the trigger...I guess it doesn't mean that much with that figure. Plus I got the overseas chrome one and I think those are grey plastic...currently just looking for arachnid....come on honey...come to papa!

Does anyone want a Kre-O Sentinal Prime? I just grabbed him for the Thundercracker Kreon. The other 2 Kreons are there (open) and all of Sentinal Prime's pieces are still sealed in the bags. I'm just looking for a couple of original Gameboy games (Metroid II - The Return of Samus and Tetris). Trade me these and he's yours. I'll also sell him for $12.

Sorry, I have no real sightings news. We're in quite a drought right now. Somebody please buy all the BB's so these stores will restock. My wish list is growing. lol

Hope all is well with everyone. --Til all are one!

I scored an Airachnid at Livonia North Walmart this afternoon. I left them with a Dead End, Stealth Bumblebee, and Knock Out. I then grabbed the Decepticon Ambush and Cycle Chase Kre-O sets at Wonderland Target. I'm glad to see they switched to regular tape on the boxes this time around. I'm definitely cool with paying $11.99 for four Kreons. Can't wait for those combiner sets now!

Acquired 1 each FOC1 at the Dearborn TRU today. 1 each Prime and Jazz remained as of approximately 11:30am, I got the only Shockwave. They are priced at $14.99.

DB Target(Ford Rd) had the latest wave of Prime, sans Airachnid, if anyone is interested(no Vehicons, either).

Happy Hunting.

Reciprocated, TT. Good to hear from you.

FOC Prime and Shockwave are very nice. Good, solid plastic, decent transformations, and SW even has an ersatz "gun" mode, made possible by swinging the arms down to simulate an handle.

Of course, less mass and scant paint apps keep the trend of paying more for less continued. Ah, well, its to be expected.

Jazz is diappointing, very cheap feeling and doesn't stand well. He'll stay in alt mode, and I'm only retaining him to fill the slot of a valued canon character.

So, my opinion, 2/3 isn't bad.

Good weekend, all.

It's interesting you say that. They are all OK to me, as in not fantastic or wonderful, but good. Even Prime. If you listen to our podcast that should come out on Monday, CP gives some glowing review for Jazz, and Shockwave (minus his scrawny size), but would not even buy the PRime. I was actually pleasantly surprised by Optimus. His alt mode transformation is 'nothing new', but his robot mode is not bad in person.

FOC Jazz will be my IDW's RID Jazz for my new IDW collection shelf.

Lots to discuss from SDCC folks, we should!

Screw CP, what does he know? ;)

Agreed on all counts, I actually quite like Prime myself.

Another sighting last night, got Weaponizer Prime and the new Bot Shot 3-packs at the Belleville Kmart. 2 Weaponizer BBs and 1 Prime remained, priced @$29.99.

Kind of odd, one now pays half that for a Deluxe, and yet I get a Leader-sized figure for $30...at Kmart, no less.

They only had 1 each of the 3-packs, none remaining.

SDCC coverage starts at 4pm tonight on G4, if anyone is interested.

Good weekend.

I picked up FoC Shockwave today at the Flint Toys R Us. left the 2 Jazz they had. was suprised the Optimus Primes were gone already. I'm not really impressed with Shockwave or the new deluxes in general. Getting way too small and Shockwave's legs are all hollow. I'd almost rather they go back to the old size deluxes and just charge a couple dollars more.
Oh I also got my Arms Micron Breakdown in the mail yesterday. Payed a little more than I would have liked, but from what I hear, it wont be coming out stateside and he is a fantastic figure!

got FOC jazz today and left 2 FOC primes at the hall road TRU and 2 FOC primes, 2 jazzes, as well as 2 TFP dead ends and 4 shadow strike BBees that were there a week or so ago.

looks like it'll take some luck to find a vehicon and now a shockwave as well.

and holy crap all the stuff at SDCC! imma be so broke this next year or so!

Was in the Grand Rapids K-mart on 68th today and saw the Large battle station Prime from Prime for $29.99 I believe. Only newest TF toy I seen in any stores lately. Still keep popping in my local stores for any of the FoC figures.

Just came from a totally bust hunting jaunt down m-59. I officially give up.

The entire hunt area that is within my ability to reach on a normal (not spending the whole day like I used to years ago) basis have been nothing more than a source of mounting frustration.

Pontiac. White Lake. Wixom. Hartland. Commerce. Novi. Livonia. Even Royal Oak.

Target. Meijer. Y'All-Mart. K-Mart. It's all the same story. Either pegs stuffed with BB in all his overproduced incarnations, tons of damn Bot-Shots, leftover DOTM, or my personal favorite, rows of empty pegs where deluxe Prime SHOULD be. I had to send away for my ONE Vehicon. Still haven't seen hide nor hair of Deadend, Airachnid, or Optimus Maximus, though there are people on this forum crowing all the time about how they found all these at retail. I have no illusions that I'm going to actually come across ANY of the new FOC or Generations stuff that's coming at retail. TFs are dead as far as Michigan retail is concerned.

I'm getting that feeling I had during the RPM season of Power Rangers where Bandai of America did exactly what Hasblo is doing now. Trying to find the figures and Zords of wave 2 for that series was a distribution nightmare the likes of which I had not encountered before. It came down to the point of permanently burning me out to Power Rangers after years and years of serious collecting since MMPR. I haven't purchased a single PR product since RPM.

From this point on I'm just going to order all my TFs online and pay the extra cash just to avoid all the frustration, wasted time, and wasted gas.

Sorry about the rant. Just a local guy driven to the breaking point. Carry on!

totally get it CP...and like most people point out, buying online and paying shipping is practically the same cost when you factor in hunting. I found the new voyager prime and the new voyager bumblebee at kmart on dixie hwy in waterford. They also had 3 OM's...not impressed enough to spend 35 bucks on him. He looks like some kids would like it, which I usually like what kids would like, but I just don't think he's for me. Can't seem to track down arachnid or shockwave...if they even exist! ;)Did find nightprime and ultramagnus at walmart on adams rd in rochester. got a huge shipment from bbts along with prime and wheeljack (I think) from FOC haven't dug through it yet. the thing I wanted most was the 3a Heavy Bramble!!! that bastard is huge!

Just left the flint toys r us about 2:30 today. They still have 3 each of the FoC jazz prime and shockwave. I'm just going to wait till they come out at a store that doesn't bump the price up $5 higher. Those cheap figures aren't worth $16 to me. Target and Walmart should be getting them in soon.

Unfortunately, they are 14.99 at target as well. for once TRU isn't bumping up the price. :-x

Well how do ya like that? I'd just gotten through screamin' and cryin' on here yesterday when lo and behold, what do I find today?

FOC Prime, Jazz, and Shockwave at the Livonia TRU, and TFP Deadend at the Y'all-Mart across the street from it! Huzzah! Finally, something! :KREMZEEK:

TRU still had some Jazz and Prime left, while 'Mart still had Dead Ends and new BB recolors (which I did not buy). Sadly no Airachnid, but hey, it's progress!

No probs, AJ. find me a vehicon and this extra shockwave i scored id yours. that pretty much goes for any of the locals. i picked him up to make one of our own's collecting life a bit easier not be a filthy scalper.
