Center island's okay: my 'research' has discovered that the Centereach Walmart stocks fastest and has better selection than Setauket. Target generally sucks: I hate going there and fighting the soccer moms.

Toys R Us by the Smithhaven Mall is pretty dead; the one in Sun Vet is better.

Of course Fourth World in Smithtown is groovy, too. I don't buy boxed items, and you can rummage for unboxed figures for a decent price. Got my whole TFA Decepticon line that way.

Any other places nearby I should check?

HK, looking for new loot-deposits.

The TRU by the smithhaven mall always sucks. There was only one time were i actually found some thing useful. Ive noticed that in the past 2 years all TRUs and Targets have gotten realy bad when it comes to toys. Mainly hasbro products. Wonder if its cause hasbro isnt shipping out enough stock or because the store just doesnt care. I am surprised to hear that the one near sunvet is better. They were always the crappiest out of the three i use to visit. Havent been there in about 2 years so maybe thats why.

Stay away from any stores in riverhead they're all wiped out. Haven seen it this empty since christmas. I picked up universe blaster cause it was the only thing worthwhile that i didnt have. Oh and stay away from target their prices are retarded. I did get some news though, i was trying to get the g1 colored animated shockwave but they wont sell it till the 22nd. Not sure if im even going to get it since i already have the bumblebee figure that comes with it and its $25. Think ill try and find the normal version. Still cant find the new universe legends. Im starting to doubt they were even released.

Hey, smarter and savvier NY collectors,

I'm going to have a few hours free on Friday in NYC (before meeting a friend to chaperone his students, oy!) and I was wondering if one of y'all would be able to suggest a really good place I might check out for toys. I'll be arriving via Penn Station (LIRR, yay!) and eventually heading Central Parkish. Where are the *must see*/must check out toys in NYC?

HK, who may not actually survive to Friday.

There is this spot that I always check out when I'm in the city called Image Anime. The address is 242 West 30th Street (btwn 7th & 8th Avenue. They have a lot of cool stuff and they usually have Henkei's there although they are marked up a little. Also you have to visit the Toys R Us down there as it's also pretty cool just to visit.

Happen to check out the Toys R US in Carl Place NY (Long Island) and they must have just had a restock as every peg was full. They had Hot Shots and Ratchets, about 5 or 6 of each. The Animated pegs were full too so any figure your looking for will most likely be there if you manage to get over today. And best of all the deluxes or on sale for $7.99. $8.48 with tax got me a Ratchet.

Too bad I can't open him yet as I agreed to give up Transformers for Lent

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a long time and active member from the New York City area to volunteer to represent Seibertron.com at Activision's media event next week for the Revenge of the Fallen game. If you are interested, you must be able to attend on April 15th or 16th. I will find out the times here shortly. Please only contact me if you are able to take a ton of pictures and are willing to write up a review of the event. This is normally an event that I would cover, but with a baby on the way this month I am unable to attend like usual.

If you are interested, please contact me at ryan@seibertron.com. I must have a person picked by the weekend. If you're intersted, speak up for this unique opportunity.

Here are my requirements:

1. Must have a decent digital camera with a lot of memory. Cell phone pics don't cut it.

2. You must know how to work your camera. Blurry or poor quality pictures won't work for the quality of the galleries that I have on the site.

3. You must be able to write up a decent review of the event. You'll be filling in for me and representing Seibertron.com.

4. You must be a very active member of Seibertron.com who has participated for quite a while. Seibertron.com should also be your favorite TF site.

5. You must have a cell phone. I'll need to be able to communicate with you via cell phone regarding this event. I'll need to discuss some things with you prior to the event and I'd like to coordinate things with you during and/or after the event as soon as possible in the evening.

6. You must be able to FTP files or, at the very least, be able to send very large attachments with your email. I'll need to be able to get the full sized original files from you somehow ... FTP is the preferred method, but email via something like Gmail might work as well. I could also set you up with a temporary seibertron.com account as well if we decide to go that route.

7. You must be able to act in a professional manner at the event. You're representing not just me, but Seibertron.com as well.

Please understand that I'm going to be picking this person from a few volunteers. If I don't pick you, please understand that it's nothing personal. Also understand that I might have a few other requirements that I haven't thought of yet, but hopefully this will get the process started.

I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Ryan

Westbury Target was empty. Had next to nothing good from the Animated Line.

Westbury Wal-Mart has pretty stocked. Had a bunch of Animated Wave 6 and IIRC they had a Universe Smokescreen.

Carle Place TRU had a few Samurai Prowls and Waspinators.

Anyone see Animated Ultra Magnus(Regular or Roadbuster), Blackarachnia, Ratchet, Blukhead and Oil Slick in and of those stores, East Meadow Wal-Mart or Levittown Target?

Hey Moon. I saw an Oil slick in Kohls in Massapequa last night. Check the Kohls in Levittown and you'll probably find him.

Thanks bro, i checked out that Kohls, all they had was 1 Activators Ratchet.

I did find Oil Slick at East Meadow Wal-Mart. If i cant find the rest in store by next weekend, ill just order them online, i have a cart full on hasbroshop.com already set.

SITREP from riverhead, Target has the animated exclusives once again. back to $24.99. Also have 1 universe ratchet a few Dinobots and Smokescreens. No Animated Deluxes. Also saw an Inferno, WreckGar and Atomic Lugnut. Almost bought the universe Ratchet but didnt feel like spending $12. TRU across the street has the same ammount of universe minus the ratchet and they also have animated blurr, swindle, sentinel prime, waspinator and samurai prowl. Picked up sentinel cause i have a good idea for a mod. Lets just say if you thought he looked like the tick before after im done he'll really look like it. Still cant find Skywarp and its pissing me off.

I picked up the ROTF wave 1 robot heroes at Hicksville target thanks to a tip form my buddy Kuribohfett.

Unfortunately there are none left cause I bought the last of them. But they may do a restock tonight.

Well all the stores in riverhead are basically wiped out. All i could find were the last wave of animated deluxe. More or less one of each figure in TRU and Walmart. TRU also has the Universe Ultra exclusives. Im begging to think that the universe legends were just a lie told by hasbro. Also does any one have any clue if the ROTF preview figures are going to be out before the main line? None of the stores have them for sale or in the back. They have the main figures in the back (cant sell them until the 30th BS as usual) but no preview ones. On another note I did manage to find the Resident Evil 5 figures at TRU. So if you've been looking for those try your local TRU. Now if only they'd carry the AVP figures again.

The preview figs "should" be out on the 15th. Worst case scenario, perhaps on launch day with the rest of the line.

Yep. Also, I checked the DPCIs at Target and they listed nothing in stock for the preview figure, so I am going to stop by again today to see if they just didn't have them in the computer, or that they actually don't have them yet.

Ok hasbro lied. The preview figures are no where to be found. I checked TRU, target and walmart and nothing. None in the back or on the shelves. Hell the lady at TRU even called 2 other stores and nada. What the hell is habro doing? You would think that these would've been shipped out to the stores before the main line and they'd be out by now. Like the last movie. I ordered a Soundwave off of TRU.com since It has free shipping (ROTF preorders have free S&H). Now to see what arrives first, my preorder of the stores shippments. Damn you hasbro.

Just got an email from TRU about my soundwave preorder. The release date has been pushed from the 15th to the 30th. So im guessing we wont be seeing these for a few weeks in the stores. I hate hasbro.
