I'm not a fan of Target to begin with, but when they are charging $17+ for deluxes it's even easier to avoid them. Boycott them? Walmart has been serving me quite well recently, with occasional trips to TRU.

TF collector from the Illinois chapter just recently moved up here 3 months ago. Looks like there isn't as many collectors up here in the frozen north. Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up, TRU in Burnsville has Grimlock in stock and the wave containing Ultra Magnus. Along with the current Beast Hunters wave, including voyager Predaking and two FE Bulkheads.

Welcome to MN! I see you and I will be competing for the stock in the Burnsville TRU.

How many FOC Grimlock? Did you get any? I am really looking forward to obtaining a Grimlock.

Welcome! There's a few of us around, though I don't hunt as much as I use to with the price increases. (Still $15 for a deluxe, with a voyager just at $20.) We drop a line on sightings from time to time. Are you on the south side of the cities, then, Gorechyld?

Along the line of sightings, the same day my BBTS order of Ravage, Ratbat, and the Rumble/Frenzy data discs came in I found 3 FoC Soundwave and 1 FoC Soundblaster along with a full peg of data discs at the Target in Brooklyn Park. The rest is very picked over, but I didn't see any beast hunter stuff yet. I might pick up the cyberverse commanders like Hun Gurr.

I'm "up" here in Bloomington, just off Lyndale by Captain Jacks Comics. Can definitely say, its nice living 5-20 minutes away from three different TRU's and TWO comic shops that cater to figures. Back home I had ONE TRU in town, and the next were either 45 minutes or an hour away from where I lived.

As for number of Grimlocks in Burnsville, there was three, I snatched one and the only Blaster on the shelves. Can definitely say I second guessed getting him, just cause he's voyager size and I'm not to partial to the gimmick. But after reading his bio I had to have him, some genius actually made the toy have its own personality aside from "Blaster is X and X is why he fights Decepticons"

As for the Beast Wars stuff, you guys can help yourselves to it. I am staying sooooo far away from that line its not even funny. Generations are pretty much my target, in fact its all my collection is comprised of, aside from Prime Arcee and third party stuff.

Welcome to MN.

Found FOC Grimlock at the Superior Walmart. Grabbed one and there's one Grimlock and a Blaster. Also had wave one of Beast hunters deluxes so I also grabbed Lazerback. Still had BB, WJ, SW.

Cloquet walmart had wave one beast hunters Cyberverse commanders.

Welcome to this frozen land. I am a little bit north of you so my sightings are pretty much around Plymouth, Maple Grove, Brooklyn Park, and Minnetonka.

Did some quick sightings few days ago at Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park Walmarts and they pretty much had nothing. Plymouth Target is quite empty also but they have two Beast Hunters Smokescreen with that jet play set thing.

Plymouth Target has one FOC Soundwave, one Soundblaster, and the discs. They also have the new Bot Shots (including the dragon set, Stunticons set, etc) which I don't care that much.

I've been all over the south metro lately and have seen lots of the new botshots (including dragons) and lots of the deluxe Beast Hunters. A couple of places had plenty of Soundwaves and discs. No Grimlocks, though a buddy in New Ulm found two and picked one for me!

Minnetonka TRU has BH voyagers; 1 Prime and 3 Predakings. They also have FOC Soundwave, Soundblaster, and discs. BH deluxe I saw one Soundwave and one Bee.

Didn't really count the numbers. Brooklyn Park Walmart has first wave BH voyager class, deluxe class, commander class, and legion class figures. No second wave like others sighted (which is what I want). :( They also have FOC Conbaticons and Grimlock and Blaster. I only bought legion Smokescreen for my son. Still couldn't justify the FOC Blaster since it is still too large for my taste.

Do you have Soundwave? I vowed to only get one, but ended with Soundwave, Blaster, and Soundblaster. Yes, I know that makes me a bit of a sucker. But it really is a great mold even it if it's a bit large. And the data disc gimmick really is kinda cool - a nice homage to the originals.

Just my $0.02

I concur. I have all three, plus the WfC Soundwave. It's kinda cool to have Soundblaster in vehicle mode, WfC in boombox mode and Soundwave and Blaster in bot modes. Blaster looks great! I love how the chest pieces look.

Now, the data discs are a cool concept, but are not executed very well in Steeljaw and Ravage, in my opinion. Ravage doesn't fold up for me. (I ended up buying another set to try to fix this.) and Steeljaw has a strange hump in his back. Still, the drop transformation gimmick is pretty neat. And the data discs look great in the purple cases.

And even Kentucky has BH wave 2 too. :-( Do snow really delay all of these toy ordering? ;)

Back to Blaster. Yes, I really want to fill the character hole in my universe. He looks so well comparing with MPs but terribly huge with Classics (see picture below). When think of the fact he is taller than Classics Optimus, I just couldn't buy him and put him there. Ah! I hate when situation comes like this. To me, Device Label Blaster is pretty much the perfect size but he is darn expensive. :BANG_HEAD:

Woohoo! Brooklyn Park Target has BH wave 2. I got the only Smokescreen and Ripclaw. They still have 1 Ripclaw, 2 Bulkhead, and 2 Starscream.

Got home from school today and to my surprise my mom picked the autobot and decepticon data discs at the hermantown target. Now that my Blaster has his buddies I need to find a Soundwave.

Sweet!

Good to know the Autobot data discs are out there if we keep looking!

Brooklyn Park Target has Kreon combiners. All 4 of them in multiple counts. And while their BH deluxe class is on sale at $10 (and plus the $3 off coupon), their TF isle is literally empty. Few FOCs and PRID, but BH deluxe are pretty much gone. If Target don't hide them in the back, I just don't get how they can be all bought that fast, except scalpers involved. Plymouth Target is the same.

I saw lots of stuff in the SW metro over the weekend. Most of the Beast Hunters Deluxe wave 2, lots of BH Cyberverse (picked up Sinnertwin - I forget his new name. Twintwist?).

Lots of Predeking and OP voyagers, now Shockwaves if you're looking for that though.

Still no Autobot datadiscs either. :-(

Where did I end up getting the Autobot Data disks....I think it was at the Walmart in Brooklyn Park. Sorry, I just graduated with a BS and the last week or so have been really hectic, what with finals and all...

Well I had an amazing Easter. My parents surprised me today with a bunch of things I've been saving for. TF wise I got Beast hunters Smokescreen, I got it at Hermantown Target. Other things were a normal size Cosmos Black 3DS and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. And got some money from an aunt, so I'm gonna look for Beast Hunters Shockwave tomorrow.
