Well, I checked back at the TRU for the Robot Heroes that went missing, and it turns out they were put on shelves too early and thus taken down. Spoke with the guy that stocked them, and the actual shelf date will be June 2nd.

Grrr. I want my cutesy Shockwave NOW!

Dang, sorry about that. I hope it wasn't too out of your way or anything.

I know how it feels to go looking for a figure and go home disappointed... :-(

No worries, (I snuck out during work so I got paid for the little expedition anyways.)

Picked up War Within Magnus and Sunstorm from The Snail on the weekend. Last ones mind you and only for $23 or something like that.

Hah, nice! I'm not quite that bold, but I often go check the stores on my way home from work. In fact, I'm heading to Metro today. My girlfriend's been wanting Softimus Prime ever since the first pic, and I hear Classics Soundwave is supposed to be out soon.

Looks like TRU have released all there Movie toys a little early. The one at Hwy. 10 & Eglington had:

all the wave 1 deluxes
leader class Prime
FABs
Megatron wall statue
Prime helmet
Voyagers
rear geal figures

Pretty much everything that had been sighted before is now officially released.

Unfortunately I didn't notice ay Soundwaves, but I wasn't realy looking for one.

I have no idea. Have no interest in the helmet whatsoever.

Brossard TRU doesn't have any Soundwaves, at least they didn't yesterday. They're running out of movie stuff, too. They never had any figures besides the protoforms and first deluxes, but now all that are left are some Scorponoks, some Wreckages, and one single Barricade (I scored the last Bumblebee), not to mention craploads of protoforms which don't seem to be moving. The Softimus Primes and Slumblebees are gone too, all of them.

TRU Barrie has tons of stuff in stock. They have a big display of them as soon as you walk in. Looks like it was put together last night; the floor plan is still there. lol Pretty much everything Dark Knight said, plus I noticed some puzzles, BB Unleashed statue, Stompers, and the Prime and Starscream blasters. Only thing they didn't have was Soundwave.

I didn't pick up anything. I was considering picking up the helmet until I pressed the button and it was NOT Peter Cullen. :-x I was also gonna pick up Blackout, but I'm wondering if they'll repaint him, as they did Starscream and
Ratchet. And I'm not sure if I should pick up Prime or wait for the Robo-Vision Prime. And those Prime heads and Megatron statue are way overpriced, IMO! And no Prime statue? :-(

BTW, is Robo-Vision the leader or voyager size one?

Weren't there two Robovision primes, one leader and one voyager?

Well, Metrotown TRU didn't have any Soundwaves. Or Softimus Primes. :( What they did have was Alt Meister, Camshaft and...Skids, I think?

Oh well, another day.

I checked the LaSalle TRU for some info on Soundwave yesterday as soon as I heard one was found in Calgary. The guy told me that they did just get in a new shipment of Classics, but couldn't say whether or not Soundwave was one of them. He told me to check back - of course - on June 2nd.

Well guys... I went to the Metrotown TRU, only to find that they sold the last of 12 Soundwaves 5 minutes before I arrived. And there were two other guys looking for him at the same time. I think he's going to be a hard one to get...

So then I ventured over to Broadway to find a full-blown movie display, complete with voyagers, Leader Prime (!), Softimus and Slumblebee (got Softimus for my girlfriend, she was just cuddling on the couch with it a minute ago :D), and a plethora of other stuff. If you want movie things, that's the place to go.

But you won't find any Soundwaves, unfortunately.

I'm sure that he'll be seen there; there was a comic convention that I attended a month back where one of the dealers had one, but he was priced at about $85. I'm worried we'll see the same...

Oh man, I hope we can find him at a reasonable price...

And speaking of reasonable prices, I just got the new TRU flyer, and here's what it says:

From June 2 to June 8, Deluxe Transformers figures will cost only $12.97 instead of $14.99. Hey, a toonie's a toonie. :PEACE:

Interesting. Movie only, or the rest of them as well? This would be a good chance to finish off Cybertron and Classics.

It doesn't specify. The picture is of movie Bumblebee and the logo is the movie logo, but there is no text explicitly stating only movie toys. Besides, it's in their bet interest to sell off the non-movie stuff.
