BTW, KNOOK, where did you get your pixelart Cyber Key avatar from? I'm looking for an archive of them, if there is one.

The RDD site had them at one point, Nem would know where to get them.

I've only ever ordered DVDs and never had any problems. Could it be that they've run out of stock and are trying to locate one for you? Is there a telephone you can ring instead of e-mailing? I always prefer speaking to a person if I can.

It's marked in my outstanding orders page as 'packing' as it has been for over a month, they've taken payment and I've checked the item a few times and it's been listed as in stock. Play have always been really reliable but the lack of communication is worrying me. I'll try giving them a ring if I don't hear anything by Monday.

Glyph, you might want to take a look here

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/barada/keys.html

I bookmarked the site a while ago for making backgrounds for my HMW team sprites.

:-x
I just checked again and they have cancelled and refunded my order without telling me.
So it appears I'll have to order another one [begrudgingly :? ]. Can someone tell me if this will fit in this? It fits my current Dell but won't fit the laptop my sister got for Xmas.

Woohoo! Got me Victory box set and classics Bumblebee this week. If he was a VW bug, this would be a perfect Bumblebee. But musn't grumble. It's a class figure.

And if anyone in the Newcastle upon Tyne area is looking for Classics Jetfire, Fenwicks on Northumberland street has a canny few in priced at £19.99. They also have the Prime/Megs 2 pack for the same price. I never realised how small those guys were before.

What ho chaps. Are we feeling particularly British today?
I have lots to disgruntle to ye this fine evening, before I pop off to the kitchen for a pint!

1. Went to TRU hoping to find Classics goodness. Failed miserably, almost got hit by a car and ended up buying a toastie maker. Annoyed.
2. Went to Argos hoping to peruse the catalogue the next day. Found they had lots of Classics and Titanium goodness. Spent all my extra money on a toastie maker. Very annoyed.
3. Went on Seibs to enjoy my daily browsing. Some nice new news, but find that the ODB thread of old gone. Disgruntled.
4. Then found my HMW team under command of Destructicon57 to be gone. Very disgruntled.

Also, reading back people have made wish lists. Here's mine.
It's a list of stuff for me to buy, but from local stores rather than the internet:

Classics Rodimus
Classics Bumblebee
Classics Jetfire
Titanium WW Optimus Prime
Titanium Rodimus Prime
Cybertron Wingsaber
MP Megatron (when he comes out)

My budget to be is about £80. So I'm screwed. Goodbye MP-05 and maybe even Wingsaber.

As for recent sightings;

Argos: Plenty of Classics and Titaniums
TRU: Mostly old Cybertron stock, loads of reissue Red Alert and Skywarp
Woolworths: Haven't been to a decent one recently
Entertainer: **** all

Come on everybody! I'm sure we can get HC's 390 pages back no probs! Get disgruntling to the Xtreme!

EDIT:- This topic really needs to get stickied to the top. I'm really gonna get disgruntled if I have to spend 20 minutes searching for it when it gets moved back pages.

We need our own forum. Our advances on the foreign language forums were scuppered and looks where they are now, that's what happen's when you don't have strong British leadership.

They dont revolt against you, then dont have a nuclear arsenal 50 years later?

And I cant see there really being a need for a Disgruntled Brits forum, not enough of us to make it worth it.

A little birdie tells me that if we get enough Brit activity on thetaverntable, then we might be allowed our own forum on that site....

The ODB thread can be hard to find sometimes. Back when there were loads of topic pages, it took me well over 15 minutes to find this place. Most people would give up by then.
Plus it would make it easier for newby Brits to find a safe haven in this chaotic world of numbers and pixels.

I'm less disgruntled today.

As you probably know I sold off a large chunk of my TF collection. Thing was there were a couple of figures I sold that I kinda miss. Gen 1 Megatron being one of them.

Then I see a TFC-06 for sale (first release) MIB with stickers unapplied - £40 including postage. :D

Now I can have Gen 1 and MP Optimus and Megs fight it out...
...(with Gen 1 and MP Starscream waiting for a moment to strike in the background)

Damnit, you sure as hell made a profit on that one... Ahh well, I still love your first Megs.

Warning: the rest of this post contains subjects of a cheerful nature!

I actully found somthing I wanted in the shops of britain, instead of 'sorry this item is out of stock' messages!!

I got Classics Jetfire (just WOW) and Classics Ultimate Battle set (meh, but I knew it was gonna be before I bought it).

Jetfire...

Is...

Like...

Sex..!

(And I actully prefere the head with the helmet rather than without.)

INMO I think that the original 2001 re-issue of Megatron is better than the TFC one, but I have so little space now, the book style re-issue fits perfectly

I'm really chuffed that you like your Megs through, Red!

So where are the pics of this Jetfire then? :P

Yep, he IS Stormbringer Jetfire - I especially like how the lightpiping works even with the helmet on. I may even flog my G1 Jetfire now I have him.

I hope we get some more Don designed bots in the future.

How dare you be cheerful and undisgruntled! I can see why though. Classics Jetfire is sex with rocket boosters strapped on. I hope to get mine ASAP.
I wouldn't get rid of the original though. It's just not cricket!

I'll check my Toymaster on Monday if you want? They had Wingsaber recently. I bought one myself. If I have no luck, I'll let ya know.

I am disgruntled simply coz my frickin' argos refuses to get Ravage in. Blastards!

Want list? Hmm. On the TF side fairly short.

I still want Powermasters Dreadwind and Darkwing. G1 Hoist. Classics Ramjet and Cliffy. Anything else is pre-ordered I think.

Cool, so Toymaster's are still quite good for tfs? Last time I went they were only stocking ARMADA MINICONS. There's a Toymaster near me, so I'll go and have a peek. Thanks for the heads up Grim.

AS for the twin Jetfire thing, beds are valuable shelf space. Sleep on the floor.
Or get another shelf.
I myself am going to put Classics on my desk! ;)^
