TRU Norwich has both MP Soundwave and Acid Storm on the shelves!

And Wilkinson has Constructbots Starscream, if you're into them.

Kickstarter is up for the second coffee table book on 3rd party TFs from Phil Reed. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/102 ... rence-book Quite a bit more expensive than the first volume was unfortunately, but I'm in for a copy.

shipping is extra. Tax will be about £6-£7 if its FEDEXed which when you consider the extra charges you get if your caught with SAL it works out worth while.

Ok I really wasn't sold on the Beast Hunter Optimus Prime toy, I mean £40 of £50 for that wasn't going to happen...

However on Smyths website it is half price... AND there is 20% off! Including Shipping he just cost me less than £23. That I don't mind paying to have an extra addition to my Optimus Prime shelf :)

I think I can still just about afford Metroplex...

Acid Storm and Soundwave have popped up in my TRU as well. Hard to resist SW even at that price, and having the 4 Japanese MP tapes. Hard, but I managed. Also saw a Skyquake. Wasn't all that impressed in person, so passed so I can regret it later :P
waiting on Metro.

Picked up Sky Lynx, Grim Wing and Ultra Magnus at Tesco yesterday. Definitely not going to complain about spending less than £30 on 2 Voyager and a Deluxe :) Really like Ultra Magnus, already had the other versions of Grim Wing and Sky Lynx so less bothered about them, although I do prefer the green than the Blue/ Grey of Dark Steel.

Nothing new in Toys R Us this week, no Metroplex, no Wave 3 Cyberverse and no new Generations.

Has anyone seen or heard of Beat Hunters Shockwave showing up anywhere? I'm starting to worry that the good old UK has skipped a wave for some unknown reason...

Hey guys, y'all doing good?

Got the IDW Bee and Trailbreaker from TRU - 'Breaker is fantastic, and I'm not too bothered about the small vehicle mode (also GORGEOUS LIGHT PIPING) :D Bee is much weaker, and the back windows seem to have the QC 'split' too. But a nice figure nevertheless.

Also took advantage of the Kapow Toys sale - nabbed a Silas Breakdown, Dr Wu Dark Tyrant Red sword and the GDO Megs Renderform Fusion Blaster :)

And since I didn't post it last month, AA haul :KREMZEEK:

Nice haul sir!

Do you or anyone know how long the Kapow sale is on for as I browsed their website last week and spotted DotM Que/Wheeljack for around £15 which suits me fine! ;)

For the people that visit the Chatham TRU did you know that a Smyths store has opened up in Aylesford? Just been informed by my Sister who informs me it is stacked with TFs.

Thanks crosshairs! As a result of your tip and my wife's overtime / generosity I have been able to afford generations thundercracker and sandstorm from kapow. A thousand thanks!

Also, I've mentioned it before but I ordered my BH shockwave from amazon.com including postage for less than £25. If like me you are paranoid about whether we will see it released here then its an option!

To Kapow Toys!

I need me a Thundercracker and a Sandstorm as well... (and a Springer and a Blitzwing and a Blaster and a... oh wait, I'm not supposed to spend an entire months wages on Transformers am I? :-( )

In other news...

My "bargain" Beast Hunter Prime turned up from Smyths today. For the record (if anyone was paying attention...) it cost me under £20 (not including postage, £23 in total I think). So that was half price and then 20% off of that. Bargain!

However to be honest that was a little expensive. I nearly bought the toy when it was 20% off at Toys R us a while back, but didn't want to spend £40 when I saw it. Now I have it I am doubly glad! I mean it is a nice enough mould and looks pretty. The stupid ring of doom does not come off annoyingly. Bot mode is cool and big (ignoring the stupid ring), the weapons are fun. Lacking a mini gun of course.

The "truck" is messy, hollow and chunky. The whole thing feels like a cheap, plastic Tonka Toy, which is a shame. I don't hate it, but it's not worth more than £20, it's size is the only thing that commands that kind of price.

Worryingly, this level of complication and chunkyness seems to be the way Hasbro is moving forward (I'm looking at you Upscaled Prime Legends...)

Kapow stuff arrived today, unfortunately Silas Breakdown has a common-ish QC issue, in that the pin in his elbow is off centre and thus the arm will not bend forward :/ Since there doesn't seem to be a fix for it I'll probs have to send it back and get a replacement/refund

Sorry to hear about your Breakdown, I hope they can sort it out for you.

My haul arrived today, only 9 days for shockwave to get here from the US, not bad for the price I paid! Really excited about thundercracker and sandstorm too.

On a final note, my local asda has new kreons. Picked up long haul for my lad but really want a sharkticon for myself!

Although, they have put the price back up to £13. :HEADHURTS:
