Toys R Us Chatham had wave 2 Beast Hunters Cyberverse commanders. Picked up Trailcutter and a couple of Hard Shells. Somehow forgot to but Starscream although they did have him, they are reduced at the moment as well, £6.99 if I recall. Also picked up the Wave 4 deluxes, but my Mrs has persuaded me to keep them back so she can give me them for Christmas.

Hardshells?

First I've heard of him being out. Missed out on him in San Diego.

Will have a look for the MP 10 when I have to go to the Parcel Force depot for the MP Prowls in a day or so(if they ever get out of customs, 2-4 days my great aunt Arcee).

Well looks like the Tesco Exclusive BH Skylynk and the other one will be the toys to get as they're in the final BH eps. (spoilers sorry).

I sent my UK Metroplex back because of this, should have a US version by early next week :)

I have considered getting the Shockwave's Lab set from Kapow while it's on sale.

....but... the non show accurate yellow detailing.... :-?

I'm in a bit of a pickle over it. :HEADHURTS:

I saw an unusual oddity in my local Tesco this week.

A seemingly knockoff TF toy that seems to have made it all the way to legitimate store shelves.

It's a 30cm (ish) tall cheap plastic bumblebee, with no transformation or articulation, and very little in terms of paint apps, but seems to have been upscaled from a particularly well detailed figure as the actual sculpt seems very show accurate. I snapped a picture, but it's on my phone and I'm currently posting from work.

Has anybody else seen these? The box is generally very accurate to the prime RiD line's stuff, even down to having all the stuff regarding the TF collectors club on the bottom. But whereas hasbro's normal packaging would have an insert with more packing detail into which the twist ties connect, this simply had a plain cardboard box bottom with the twist ties visible on the outside of the box and just taped down. I didn't think to take note of whether they were plastic, or hasbro's usual paper twist ties, I can't remember.

Is this an official figure?

It's the Bumblebee that comes in the series of two figures with Optimus Prime: http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ure/27530/

So yes, it's official. :D

look like they'd be good if you wanted to club someone to...well not death...club someone to mild discomfort. or if you're having a firework party or something.

To say I'm not jealous of your Masterpiece collection would be a lie.

Loving Prowl, still really need to get hold of a Sideswipe!

I guess I will have to comfort myself with my growing armada of Flying Steve's that I found in Sainsburys this week.

Not sure if this is considered "news" but I hadn't heard these were appearing yet...

Anyway, popped into John Lewis at Bluewater and found a second wave of Tomy Gatcha Arms Microns. They were just kind of dumped on the shelf amongst all the Beast Hunters stuff (nothing new there, but they did have some Hard Shells if anyone was after them.)

The wave includes Bulkhead (that turns into a fist like thing), Megatron (Gun), Arcee (Sword) and a couple of Shield like Turtle things. Excuse my terrible descriptions, I'm not overly up on Arms Microns.

Unfotunatly for anyone else looking, they only had 6 on display and I kinda bought them all. That say, I do have a couple of doubles if anyone is interested

i liked the turtles a lot. bulkhead too. giant fist ftw. arcee and megs were only ok, although if you swap megatron's arms, you can stick a gun on the correct arm.

Sneaking in to leave this, in case anyone's interested.
Selling off some old Marvel comics for a friend, he needs to put some money together fast as he's moving to Turkey soon!

Did find a MP Soundwave, Acidstorm and Metroplex at the Toys R Us in Southampton.

At RORC ended up spending touch too much.

It's all gone a bit quiet here...

Nothing much to report here other than my local Sainsbury's has ramped up its TF stock for Christmas. Cyberverse Wave 3 (Air Vehicon), Commander Wave 2 (lots of Hardshells), Deluxe Wave 4 (Crock Out). They also had some Construct Bots.

I know that's nothing exciting really, but it's good to see the Hardshell wave is getting about a bit. (I didnt buy all of them... although I did buy all the air Vehicons).

Wasn't Shockwave in the same wave as Hardshell in the States? If so, the fact he appears to be missing again leads me to think we wont see him at all over here...

Anyone seen a Beast Hunters Voyager Shockwave recently?
Been looking around toy shops and supermarkets for one ever since I started University last month and it seems that I've found everyone from that line except him.

Nope, he seems to be missing from the Euro case assortments.

Anybody else here into the Glyos system figures from Onell Designs (and some other small producers using the same factory)? I've been picking these up for the past couple of months and love the things, completely reconfigurable figures using a universal peg system, based around a 'standard' scale of 2.5" for the humanesque figures.

This cracked me up oh lord

Also, went to MCM london today-had a great time overall, including seeing a really intense G1 soundwave cosplay. Picked myself up a classics mirage boxed but not sealed for £10, which from what I've heard about it is pretty much a steal

If anyone's after the big Kreo Optimus Prime set Home Bargains have it for £15.99 reduced from £69.99. I bought two sets to use for bits.

I saw him appear in mine after I'd just bought the same set from TK MAXX for £25.
I bought it for the purpose of flipping it online :-x .

Kinda sad about it, but hey, it prompted me to open the box and build the damn thing. It was really fun. Great kit! Though I have duplicates of Kreon Bluestreak, Prime and Skywarp now if anybody's interested. Still sealed in bag.

Picked up a legion air vehicon from tesco-pretty fun, looks quite nice, fits well with the other cyberverse lot. Admittedly limited compared to some in terms of articulation etc, but that's more a reflection on how good the others are than how bad he is, if that makes any sense. It's nice to have him to fill out the ranks a bit more.

Ive totally missed the boat in regards to picking up the new MP Optimus Prime from Toys R Us now I cant seem to find him.
Has anyone else been into TRU recently where he is in stock and if so where and how much is he (was £100 as far as I remember)?
I thought TRU would have put him back on the shelves for Christmas! :-?

MP Prime isn't on their site any more which would suggest that it is out of stock in the main warehouse and the only stock they may have would be in stores. Sucks for those people who were sure it would be discounted at some point and didn't buy.

There were four at my local TRU, I left for a week, came back and they'd all gone. :(

They had been sitting there for months! And I had no money..
