Sorry, to clarify, I meant I have him on pre-order with kapow and became impatient with my plastic addiction waiting for him to become in stock, and so caved and purchased the already in stock Crosscut :P another site (cannot remember which) claimed they'd have brainstorm in stock by September the 7th (which has passed) but seeing as no in hand pictures have been released i'm going to gather that was not so, really hope he doesn't become overdue til October :(

Yeah, their customer service is less than the best. I've had some moderate success with their preorders when getting hold of some Hellboy stuff for the wife, but I've never personally had a preordered item arrive on time from them.

I currently have Skids on preorder with them (due 30th Oct), IIRC it was here that had brainstorm showing as releasing on 7th Sept. since I was going to pick him up too but I ended up not getting paid for a few days by work and when my money finally came in he was out of stock. :BANG_HEAD:

I'm guessing that's where you saw him Lockdown. But that said, I preordered him from kapow instead and they have him listed as "expected in september" so everything seems to point towards some time this month being right for his release date.

I'd also like to echo comments other people have made about Omegalock. They don't seem to have the widest variety or the best stock levels, but their pricing is great and they speed they ship stuff to you is phenomenal. My leader Jetfire arrived before I even got the dispatch email. :APPLAUSE:

It was bought back from the US, was going to keep one in its box but have since decided not to.

Turned out pretty darned good. Looks double dangerous with all those weapons, bullets running down his arms and bullet beard. Feet aren't as helpful as Evasion Primes.

I've heard really good things of Omegalock, not much of Masterforce. :D

Cheers for the info. I've got Brainstorm, Arcee and Chromia on pre-order with Forbidden Planet, so I'll see how it goes. If they mess me about I'll just pass on them. I'm in London a lot so I do pop into theirs every now and again, and Orbital comics to see what's going on. Prices in store are pretty high though.

Aint had a problem, they seem to buy collections so you check them every few days and you get some nice finds. New stock seem grand. They are the whole reason I got a FP Intimadator, they took 10% deposit. Aint had any issues, then again I haven't with Omega or Kapow like.

Range is a little limited they didn't stock Warbotron straight away then changed their minds.

Also while not a specialist like Kapow, Masterforce and Omegalock. Checkout Ordersixtysix.co.uk is good for some TF goodness if you cant get something(Hasbro wise) second its up for pre order.

As I said, not much at all!

I've heard their name once or twice, and people seemed fine with them, but they weren't trying to impress me with the service they received or singing their praises. So no news, but good news, I guess.

Their in store prices seem to have taken a drop recently actually.
I got my Springer and Blitzwing there for £30 each; but since then I picked up Scoop for £15 and Whirl for just £23 in store, which is phenomenal considering they're imports.

They seem like they might be one to keep an eye on. I've been checking back every few weeks in my local one (liverpool) just to see what nice surprises turn up. They currently have Centurion and Skywarp on pegs, but I'm skipping those.

I don't suppose they still have Whirl? I'm in Liverpool over the weekend so might pop in and get myself one if he's still available.

The one I picked up was the last generations voyager they had left in the store, sorry. I don't know if they will have restocked since then, it was about 2 weeks ago when I was there last and they had the Skywarp/Centurion/Scoop wave of Deluxes.

Ah, a pity. Thanks anyway! I'll be moving to Warrington as of November so I'm going to try and keep an eye on both Liverpool and Manchester stores.

Sounds like the Liverpool one is better stocked than the London one. All they ever seem to have in the Generations line down here are a couple of the IDW figures from wave 1 that they can never seem to shift like Bee and Trailcutter. I've never seen them stock Whirl or Scoop which is a shame as I'd like them for my Wreckers line up, but I did catch Springer there a few months back. I'll keep my eyes peeled nonetheless.

The Forbidden Planet here in Belfast still has mostly Beast Hunters wave 1-2. The last time they stocked any import TFs was the Takara G1 collection :(

With regards to Masterforce.co.uk I've been dealing with him for well over a year now. He mostly specialises in unique hard to find items eg original G1 pre production art, comic art, prototypes etc. this is his main focus market wise instead of just offering the same items as all the other sites.

I purchased my iGear G2 Ramjet from him, amongst other bits. I've never had a problem with him, and he's always been top class to me

Sounds like Middlesbroughs forbidden planet is the worst. Only TF toys are overpriced first wave prime stuff. I wish we had generations stuff.

Nothing much around here. With the agonizing wait for the Prime evolution pack, the new legions that are showing up elsewhere and the doubt about wave 2 I've been buying plastic in other forms to avoid cold turkeying. This has led to my first custom and one far superior to any official version. In a classic case of psychological transference I have substituted another object for the original object of the repressed impulses nurtured and then unfulfilled by Hasbro and present voyager class Lockdown.

With a head like that you don't need it to turn into a gun.
