The month of December marks the beginning of the hype for IDW's Infestation, and also the release of Transformers: Ongoing #14. The issue will be released a month before the start of the Infestation crossover, which will be in January. Thanks to Chris Ryall, we've got a look at the issue's three covers. Cover A we've seen previously - oddly placed shots fired at an Optimus Prime target board. Cover B features Soundwave with his minions Rumble and Frenzy. Cover C is concept art for a revived Megatron. Check out the covers below!

and what is going on with Rumbles face!!! i am such a devoted fan i will still buy these comics but i am very disappointed with the majority of the stories coming from IDW.

That's not Rumble, that's Bruce Campbell in disguise. I love that Megs artwork, wish the WFC toy was a bit closer to that.

Also they swapped Rumble and Frenzy, even though it is established several times in IDW that Rumble is the red and black one and Frenzy is the blue and purple one.

Don and his BSC art seems to be making a return. Sad, really, since I was just getting used to buying Ongoing. The story just isn't good enough on it's own to not be carried by good art...and Don just ain't gonna cut it with his style. Just too bad.


As for Infestation, not interested. Four of the largest franchises in sci-fi with zombies added in for extra nerdgasms just doesn't in the slightest interest me.

And I dig the "new" Megs' look, even if it'll last about as long as the pre-AHM TFs' looks did.

I want to see more of that Megatron!!! It has Dons sign AND it has normal face, so... the King Returns with the classic looks?

Wow. I love Soundwave... but hate Rumble! So odd looking.

And while Megatron looks nice (reminiscent Super Megatron from Japan)... I'm tired of every artist having to try their hand at redesigning the characters and transformations. It's so jarring... and odd to own the toy(s) and get a new comic with a different look almost every issue (not to mention flipped personalities... ie. Spike hates Autobots, etc.)

Please stick to the cartoon or toy look and transformation.
