What I'm wondering is: with all these pics of figures out where are all the domestic (U.S.) preorders for these figures? All we've got are a few Cyberverse and Human Alliance items so far…

Movie-verse Tankor has been linked to Brawl a couple of times, so that's not really possible.

Skyhammer looked worlds better with the custom paint job. As he is, I'm not sure if I trust myself to do a full repaint on him.

Still, he's an awesome fig, and I might buy him anyway, and maybe just repaint the head.

I haven't paid much attention to previous Bayverse movie toy releases, what is the chance of Voyager-size repaints?

Difference is, an official repaint is likely to be done in colors that I wouldn't want [case in point, the Fallen]. I'm talking about a custom repaint that uses similar dark tones and dry-brushing to create a more realistic-looking and detailed figure.

Of course, one could hope for a premium edition, but it seems that Hasbro hasn't been issuing premium editions since the 2007 movie toyline. Recent repaints include substantial color changes that might or might not be to my tastes.
