However, if anyone does find a way to start doing video commentary/discussion episodes, count me in! I'm no stranger to cameras, even if I don't update my youtube account nearly as often as I'd like..Razorclaw0000 wrote:thunderjacker wrote:i have to admit that i have not listened to this last podcast. for me, it is not the content or the collaborators that i have a problem with. it is the medium. i believe and hope that in the future, seibertron.com will have a regular video commentary that discusses the hobby that we all love. similar to the early days of the G4 network regarding video games. however, i realize that such passionate fans, such as myself, live very far away from each other and we will simply have to wait.
I have a face made for radio. Trust me, it's better this way.

Regarding the idea of the Japanese trying to shoehorn their dub of Animated in with their dubs of the movies, turns out it never came to pass. Aside from renaming Bulkhead "Ironhide" (and Ironhide "Armorhide"), their dub of Animated was pretty straightforward and faithful script-wise to the English version. I'm guessing that it may have been planned for them to retcon it in with the movies, but after seeing how wildly different the two were, they dropped that idea and just gave Animated a good and accurate dub to the original.![]()
Agreed. 'Twould have been interesting to see how'd they weave it in, but it's definitely better like this with them separate.Razorclaw0000 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Listening to the second half now.

That's good to know. I'm glad they didn't try to fit it in, as that would have been awful.
