Damn it! I have been pushing Swindle every year and you guys had to make him this years Erector! He actually deserves to be in the hall of fame, unlike Wheeljack or Arcee. I'd think Hot Rod would have been an auto-inductee though. My vote's going to Sky-Byte.

Okay, looking at Arcee's bio, it's clear that Hasbro simply doesn't care anymore. They make no attempts to have her bio make any lick of sense, and so they just did whatever they wanted and made her bio one big clustermuck of nonsense.

Wheeljack's and Rodimus' bios aren't as bad, but they're borderlining.

Megs and Sky-Byte at least were given decency in their bios, but they put the wrong Sky-Byte in the pic. That bio is clearly about RiD Sky-byte, while pictured is Wings Universe (G1) Sky-Byte, who never underwent any of the events described in that bio.

No, Sky-Byte is as legitimate a choice as Waspinator was. He was a lovable character.

Can one of the people pushing this Sky-Byte thing please explain the joke to the rest of us?

I'm not pushing for him (as much as I am for Megs), but I will explain it. First off, it's no joke. Of all the characters to appear in the Robots in Disguise cartoon, Sky-byte became a fan favorite. He was a very likeable character, as he was hilarious and had a charming personality. He's another comic relief character like Waspinator, except with a little more of his head screwed on right. And thus, those who took a liking to him voted for him.

(Also, who the heck writes these things? They're nigh-unreadable, especially with all the random CAPITALIZED NOUNS.

Um, EVERY single English-language Transformers bio has been written like that since 1984. They ALWAYS capitalize the important copyrighted/trademarked names and terms to show that they own them. It's what they do and have done for the past 25+ years.

Since when is Rattbat Arcee's "great-nephew"? How could a Transformer even have a great-nephew?

Look again. it said "Rattrap", not "Ratbat".

In the Transmutate episode of Beast Wars, Rattrap exclaimed, "What in the name of my Great Aunt Arcee is going on here?!" It was meant to be just an in-joke to the fact that Susan Blu voiced Transmutate, but then a Fun Pub comic that took place post-Beast Machines had Botcon 2001 Arcee and BM Rattrap run into each other and have an awkward moment, as another joke reference to that line of his from before. Here, though, it's... not a joke.

And what does this even mean?

It sounds like its for hotrod but just barely and since this is Rodimus(look at the picture) and not HotRod wheres the fact that he took down unicron, united cybertron, and kicked Galvatron ass? Damn you hasbro, start getting people who know the franchise to do this kind of stuff. None the less i am glad to see HotRod get some recognition and hope he wins. And im auprised Skybite got in, i was going to list him but we already got Waspinator and we dont need another comic relief character right now. Arcees probably going to win but im pulling for HotRod/Rodimus, surprising i know.

Hello? They lost the name "Hot Rod" years ago. That's why they call him "Rodimus" now. This isn't "Rodimus Prime", it's "Rodimus".

"Hot Rod" = "Rodimus"

"Rodimus Prime" = "Rodimus Prime"

Plus, it's not like they don't bruingup the guy's Prime form in the bio. But they modeled the bio after his Hot Rod self. They just don't own that name anymore and so cannot use it. That's why they used "Rodimus" without the "Prime" part.

Call me paranoid, but I kinda wonder if FunPub didn't have a little hand in Sky-Byte making it in, as he's one of the uber-fringe characters they have worked into their fiction.

Could also explain why Swindle DIDN'T make it...
