i'm going to guess between MP10 and MP11

Laserbeak looks suitably Masterpiece, but Sideswipe and Soundwave look like Alternators or DX grade toys.

and as usual, there's a nay sayer. lol.(lol denotes sarcasm, not fight picking*) sideswipe had an alternators figure.. and it absolutely blew. soundwave looks perfect. absolutely perfect.

i wonder how they're going to release the other cassettes.. in the same package as soundwave? as an exclusive.. as an extra set.. ?

This just blew everything Acousticwave had going for it right out of the water. So far I'm totally hyped for this release. I really hope these things can fit into G1 Soundwave too ... they look like they just might be able to.

I have a whole cassette collection thing going on, so these being backwards compatable is a thing for me.

Acousticwave has been cancelled for some time now. The company making it has gone under.

That was never confirmed, and if you look at the 2nd page of that topic, there's a brief explaination from Sidecutter regarding some difficulties related to getting the product out.

I'm thrilled Takara is producing MP Soundwave, but will still consider picking up an Acoustic Wave if it were released. Besides, this group also teased a prototype MP Blaster. How long do you think we'd have to wait for an official release of that guy?

agreed, the more the merrier indeed.

.. i wouldn't pick up acoustic wave. what sold me on the takara version is the legs and the feet.

i would love an MP blaster.. i just hope we get one later rather than sooner. i'd like to see them give us a prowl and his brethren next (as far as autobot cars go). next i'd like to see as far as major characters is megatron, galvatron, ironhide, ratchet..

Now, they said the next masterpiece was going to be announced at Tokyo toyfair. Are the next figures Ravage and Rumble/Frenzy? Or are we going to get another suprise?

They will be released in a pack by themselves, my sources say. I know Soundblaster will come with a cassette, but perhaps he comes with them all?

I think a seperate pack of cassetes is a good idea and I would be all over it too. But can we expect the cassettes to be labelled MP15 or is there another reveal coming?

I may also pick up AW under the exact same logic, but the thrill for it has just been cut down by a substancial margin. Those tapes were always what drew me to AW and now it seems the official release has all of them already.

I'm sure that due to their lack of size they won't be labelled such, but rather a MP-13n side.
