I'm worried about the low to the ground clearance of the cars.

i'm sorry. but there isn't an interior for sideswipe or red alert. red alerts prototype figure has clear windows.. and all i see is a bunch of robot parts.

having an interior would be a bonus.. but usually when there's a true interior there tends to be a lot of unwelcomed kibble. i personally don't really care for an interior.

are you worried because you think there will be robot bits scraping the ground? my guess is that everything compacts quite nicely and that there won't be anything hanging down, that's usually how it works with blocky figures such as this one.

Yeah. That was a question I posted for the one that claims that there is an interior. RA's prototype shows robot parts crammed inside. I really hoped for interiors. Even just space for Spike. Just like what they did with MP 10. Added play and display value is always a plus. :D

Clearance has always been an issue with me. Plastic tolerances and q.c. issues tend to affect the final product. I don't want to receive a copy that will have a probability of not compressing well and give me a result that will have trouble rolling. I also love to play with my toys. I want my tf cars to roll just fine.

Speaking of rolling, I also hoped for rubber tires. Some claim rubber tires (although they are not really rubber. some use soft PVC) don't age well. I have 20+ year old toy cars with soft tires and they're still fine. Plus, they could be replaced. And they roll better. Better is always good for me. :D

The amazon exclusive parts for SW don't excite me as much since they're hollow. But then again, they're free so I guess they're cool.

I can't wait to play with this. :D

Soooooo articulated hands on Sideswipe?! He is looking mighty sexy, so far no regrets on preordering him, I can only hope Sunstreaker comes in the inevitable furture, otherwise he's gonna look awfully lonely. Tho I guess Hotrod will keep him company if his brother never see's the light of day.

Sideswipe also has clear windows, look at the top view of the alt-mode (the one that is not a hand-painted prototype) and you can see something that looks like a seat.

And yes, it likely is a pseudo interior.

Darkness Megatron looks better than I expected. That "Lugnut" micron is much better proportioned to the Voyager mold.

The more I see pics of them, the less impressed I become with Takara's decision that good exclusives apparently are the fully featured toys and the rest are all gutted of parts/functionality in some way. It makes me feel like I'm experiencing the Machine Wars toyline all over again in the worst way possible.
