Pete Sinclair Answers a few Questions Concerning the TFCC Subscription Service

With just 3 days left to sign up for the TFCC subscription service, fellow fan site Tformers shot some questions toward the club and Pete Sinclair took the time to fire back some answers. You can also see a new shot of Ultra Mammoth chillin with Optimus Primal. Here are the main points from the interview which can be read here.

  • The Transformers subscription service came about due to the great reception from the G.I. Joe subscription service using the same frame work with a few tweaks.
  • With 6 figures planned for the first year the idea was to touch on different mythos and to do a little gap filling.
  • The subscription service replaces the members exclusives but convention exclusives remain unchanged.
  • In the fiction there will be some interaction between at least five of the six characters even though they are from different timelines.

If you want a sneak peak of the comic action, check out the 2 page comic preview we reported a couple days ago.

Six figures a year instead of two sounds good to me. :D
If you've read Exodus, wanna read the War For Cybertron comic? PM me.

Wait just a second. Are they saying the free figure will no longer exist?

I wonder the same thing. I actually purchased the FSS, so I'm okay with that. Depth Charge (the technicolor Terradive repaint) is the free figure for 2013, so maybe after him there'll be no freebies for signing up except for the magazine and discounts that non-memebrs don't get on items in the store.

If Depthcharge is the best they can do, may as well do away with it... But I don't think that's what they're saying. What else are they going to give you for 40-some bucks?

I was thinking maybe they'd lower the subscription price if all you'd be getting is the magazine and access to discounts in the club store.

Sigh, so many figures, so little cash. If only that deadline were nonexistant.

I didn't see "free" anywhere, so they must mean figures like Over-Run and SG Drift which usually come in twos.
Top 5 Priorities:

1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
4) RiD Landfill (regular, not the yellow)
5) BW Convobat (red) & Megalligator (purple)

Also looking for any clear Arms Microns, like Shadow (Gora & R.A.), Hellflame and Shining (O.P. and R.A.).

Preparing to move to the US!

I believe they are talking about replacing the boxed exclusives and not the membership incentive exclusive for each year.

This whole thing frustrates me. Of all the figures I only want one. I'm not spending that 250 to get one figure and the hassle of trying to sell off the other 5.
Weird request here. If anyone has an extra Classics Skywarp or Dirge missile please PM me. I need one.
