When one of the users said "You can never have too many Soundwaves", this reminds me of his original toy:

G1 1984 release;


1985 Grimlock vs. Soundwave;


Headmasters Soundblaster (with a retooled door in order to hold two cassettes at once);


Takara Collection Soundwave and Soundblaster (both have the retooled tape door);


Classics Toys"R"Us exclusive Commemorative Edition Soundwave(still with retooled door, but with neutered weapons);


Encore Soundwave and Soundblaster;




Universe Hasbro Toy Shop Exclusive Soundwave (now with the original tape door);


He must have 9 reissues in total! 10 for the upcoming one.

He's not out of scale if you put G1 Soundwave beside G1 Prime and Megs, Soundwave was a larger toy. See Soundwave superior...smaller toys inferior.

But judging strictly from the games alone, voyager FOC Soundwave would be out of scale with WFC Megs and WFC/FOC OP.

Personally, I base the scale of my collection on that of their respective shows/games/continuity, not the G1 toys.

No word on that. Heck, there hasn't been any word on a voyager FOC Optimus, or even a deluxe FOC Megatron.

He actually looks pretty good sat there in his box. I'm still not too thrilled about how they've handled Laserbeak and the others.

It'll be interesting to see how, with the reduced size of Transformers, this voyager Soundwave compares to the WFC deluxe.

I love the way this toy looks and if the MP Soundwave wasn't staring us in the face I would be all over him, but I am going to get the MP model and never need to buy another Soundwave...ever! I will get the Blaster retool of this guy though if the toy is cool.

Anyone have any info on how tall FOC Voyagers will be?

Maybe some of you guys have seen him in person on display, how would he stack up against a Classics Prime?
