If this is Ultra Magnus, they KNOW they can't pull off another white repaint and let it sell. It's gotta have a new trailer.

I'd be more apt to believe in a Nemesis Prime.

Would buy Nemesisisisis Prime. Would buy white Prime with Magnus armor/trailer. Would not buy white Prime.

Shinpitekina Shirue - I think the missing part is tto, making it Mysterious Silhouette- but that's not the point.

The first character can be read as Jin, 神. As in 超神; CHOUJIN!

Choujin Masterforce! I think the word itself has been left as a clue! It wouldn't be the most cryptic clue ever used... Remember the Rodimus reveal?

I figured it went without saying that it'd include a trailer of some kind, for the "Super Ginrai" or Powermaster mode; the opinion of Magnus with trailer is a popular one, Ginrai's would be no more complicated.

As for your suggestion... We must remember that it is unlikely they'll release the robot alone, so any colour change or theme would apply to his packed-in trailer as well. It's grey already, and a ghost trailer would be a funny thing to see!

If we're sticking to reasonable repaint theories, then I'd say G2. No new tooling is required, and it's different enough that people may bite.

14 - Red Alert

Which if that's true, I'm guessing we're looking at Nemesis Prime. Unless they really piss people off and do Motormaster (because since it's the MP-10 mold, there goes hope of him in a Combiner).

But I still really want to hold out hope for Ultra Magnus with a proper trailer/armor.

If Hasbro and Takara are serious about turning Masterpiece into a main line of a number of figures a year, then they need to stay away from the clutching-at-straws repaints. I'm going with Ultra Magnus. A proper Ultra Magnus.
