Courtesy of TFG2 we have some in-hand images of the recently released Transformers Beast Wars Neo DVD set. The set was released in Japan on late last month with a retail price of 23,940 JPY (or approximately $307.00). Images mirrored below.

As long as Hasbro stays away from the DVD subs. They've already botched the JG1 subs badly enough.

If any of the other Japanese TF series are an indication of the quality of this series, I probably won't miss much if this series is never released in other regions. In my opinion, the Animeformers series are garbage. But, since other people seem to want them released here, I won't argue against it.

Takara is/was(their Prime toys are awful, stickers are so 1984 and not in a good way) a good toymaker, but man do they blow at making good Transformers cartoons. In my opinion, G1, Beast Wars(the Takara version is nauseating ), Beast Machines, Animated, and Prime are infinitely better than the Transformers anime series.

Yeah, for a non-Japanese consumer. These are Japanese-domestic DVD sets. They're no good to anyone who doesn't know the language.

The set has gone down in price. You can get it now for about 18,300 yen (that's including int. shipping)on amazon.co.jp - roughly $210 US
