the art is quickly becoming too good for this comic. its looking more and more like everything else idw does. and less and less like what the idea for reviving the comic was.

looks great, I am passing on the series because it ignores G2 but got to say it still looks great.

Wish Wildman and Baskerville had done the art on G2

I think he's saying "great art, shit story." I disagree, even if the ending of Loose Ends was anti-climactic. Maybe this story arc will be better. It has until #90 to get it done. Furman set it up to be 4 5-issue story arcs, and I think he's limiting himself. He should've made it 2 10-issue arcs or somewhere in between. I think 5 issues were not enough for the pacing of the story. Maybe he can improve and pack more into the next 5. The preview certainly seems to point that way. I love the art more and more.

Sometimes comics abilities and characteristics are different from the cartoon version, on which the toys are also based. IIRC, Scorponok (and even Fort Max) didn't have a city mode in the comics, just 1 alt mode. Giant scorpion for Scorponok and a rolling/floating attack base for Max. But even in the original G1 Scorponok wasn't huge, he was just a shade under the size of a combiner, but he was (and is) bigger than Grimlock.

Fort Max and Scroponok are 'smaller' than their toys would indicate because the writers wanted them to be able to 'interact' with the Transformers around them. This of course makes total sense if they want to be 'main characters'. I mean you don't want 500 foot tall Fort Max standing next to 20 foot tall Optimus Prime trying to read data from a computer?

It was all about convince for the characters.

Also, I called everything so far. I have to brag elsewhere about this. Not here though, you all who were commenting knew where the story was heading.

Also the battle with Megatron is meant to be anti-climatic as the climax of the story has yet to happen. I consider this a great thing.
