This clip conflicts with previous Beast Hunters Promo. So mostly likely a toy promo. Especially since it only references Beast Hunters and Transformers.com as opposed to Transformers Prime like the last one. That said, I like this Shockwave's voice better, but whoever was doing the Predaking "vocals" was pretty awful.

Doesn't this conflict a little with the last vid of Shockwave debuting an undisclosed beast to Megatron? Or is this another set of beasts? I wont speculate what beasts, dinobot or otherwise but there is either a conflict in the storyline, or this is after the 1st vid took place, or for the toyline.

It would easily seem like a TV Show promo to me if not for the above mentioned timeline issue.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's intentionally out of order/place to get us nerds to start kicking up dust and create a larger buzz for both TV and Toys. Think about it, how much free advertising are they getting out of us by this discussion alone?

TF Animated just kinda died. I personally though the show sucked and was not impressed by the toys at all. If I were at the captains chair that would bear some weight to me so I'd try to keep the interest up while the lines still kinda hot.

The TF shelves got pretty bare this holiday season, at least here in Northwest Ohio. That's a good sign so I think they are trying to keep that momentum up. I have all but 1 or 2 molds (my focal point of collecting) of the whole Prime line to date, excluding Weaponizers and Vehicles.
(I just need an FE Bumblebee and Powerizer Dreadwing/Skyfall)

I can't wait for season 3 of Prime. I loved Cybertron and was very disappointed in Animated. It just felt like "we got the kids hot and bothered with the Bay film, we need to capitalize on this before kids forget who these characters are."

I was a little concerned with the whole Beast Hunters concept when it was first starting to blow around but now we've seem some of the products and having seen all of season 2, it's all I can do to keep jumping out of my skin with anticipation.

That's just my $.02

Shockwave: Oh dear, if I don't get this beast calm before Takara starts recording and selling toys, my paycheck would shrink halfly!

This is what happens when you don't get a beast ready for a commercial.

Anyway, something tells me that Shockwave's voice is not the kind I heard before. And, yes, this is meant for the toys. So...

The beasts are coming...at your local toy store! And also available everywhere toys sold.

The Beasts Are Coming

And I can't wait!!!

Honestly, I am totally psyched for this! I am loving all these new Mad Max style upgrade designs that make everyone look like they're in some kind of "Dragon Mode" type powered up form. And all the Predacons appear to be dragons, dragons, and more dragons galore! I loves me some dragons! 8-)

And the gimmick now is the long-awaited return of projectile-firing weaponry that's we've been missing since before DOTM and its mostly mediocre MechTech gimmick.

Not to mention that the whole thing just looks so FUN! I haven't yet found the Wave 1 Deluxes, but I've heard almost unanimously good things about them from those who have them. Bumblebee looks like he could be the next Murderbee, Wheeljack is such an extensive retool that he's practically a new mold altogether, Soundwave's just a boss, and Lazerback is said to be a stupendously enjoyable figure. :D

And, the whole thing just has this fantastic feel of imagination and wonder, with the designs all being themed around "mythical" forms instead of "realistic" forms. Realistic forms are what we've had since 2006--Animated notwithstanding--and it's felt like the line has been in a sort of rut ever since. Now, the imaginations of the toy designers are no longer limited and restricted to what we perceive in our real life reality and are now free to run wild and expand beyond the realm of the natural and further into the supernatural.

Many are hating on this change almost just as badly as the the G1 crowd hated on Beast Wars back in 1996, but look how well that turned out. Granted, this "Beast Hunters" isn't exactly the same beast (pun intended) as Beast Wars and is being made by different people. But so far things are looking up from here on, IMO. I've grown tired of the uber-realistic feel that we've been stuck in for so long, and my favorite parts of TF: Prime have been all the lore-based and mystical/legendary components like the Star Saber and the history flashbacks like with the Thirteen and Orion Pax/Megatron. If the show finally decides to steer away from the seriously-overdone real world feel that it took from the movies and go in more fantasy-based route, then I say more power to them and look forward to it greatly. ;)

Were you paying attention to the end of the video? Predaking knocked over the feed's camera and cut off Shockwave.

Also, how does it conflict with FOC? The Dinobots are fine.

Because if he was talking about the Dino bots which he's not. But they already escaped in FOC so it wouldn't make sense that the Dinobots escaped again. When I first watched this it did sound like he said the autobots escaped but if you listen closely its all static when he says who escaped. But he's obviously talking about the predacons or what ever they are going bye in the show.
