Interesting read so far... I'm liking the pacing...
Starscream looks so very disheveled with his toy waist fin pieces all daintly hanging off, haha.

That intro pic of starscream is going to spawn so much fanart and fiction. I will enjoy it whelp, guess I'm picking up this issue too. Can't pass up on Roche's writing either. Is it just me though, or does Megatron seem a bit to casual and comedic? It'll be good read regardless.

Does this and MTMtE come out tomorrow or Wed? the IDW and Full metal hero forums implied their release was tommorow

Roche's writing is good, twisted, funny and he draws his own stories perfectly.

Gonna have to pick this one up. I love when the cons get introspection-y.

Grah. I hate it when each artist has to arbitrarily redesign characters. Megatron looks like no version of him we've seen before.

Unless there is a toy coming that's a stealth jet, I'd much rather have him looking like ONE of the looks (and colors) we actually recognize. I mean... It IS his spotlight issue.

That said, everything else looks solid. I like the art, tone, character development. Will pick it up for sure.

Megatron does look like his upgraded version in the previous IDW ongoing, so I'm not sure I understand your point.

My point is he doesn't look like the toys or cartoons. It's a totally new made up version of him. (and I know it's been around for a little while now)

It's not such a big deal, but they keep doing it through the comics all the time. Each artist wants to leave his mark on the line.

I see your point, but with the comics being a completely different continuity from the other media, I personally don't have a problem with it!

And who knows, maybe they'll make a toy version of this Megatron. Maybe.
