Just had another look at the normal face, can see what you mean. Still kinda like it though
I'll probably use the icy face most of the time as well!
Now I'm starting to wonder what the third face, and there should be one, looks like.
onable is the word I'll go with...GEEWUNER on this forum. If it's not EXPLICITLY G1, he has something bad to say about it.
And by something, I mean he usually comes up with some sort of rant.
LOL! You should see some of the "debates" going on between Macross and Robotech fans in the other forums. There will be G1 "elitists" in any popular 80's franchise.

FoC? I know they're part of the Generations line, but if they were FoC, shouldn't the toys be made from their Cybertronian designs?
As for Aligned...ah, the wonders of Google and TFwiki.
I've seen this name mentioned in some articles, but never knew what it was until just now. I guess you're right, technically.
But then again, I wonder why they didn't just go with the FoC Cybertronian designs instead of vague neo-Earth modes?
I'm not complaining, though. The designs from the video games depended quite a bit on CGI magic, which when translated to toys, could easily lead to inaccuracies such as skewed proportions and even faux kibble (a pet peeve of mine.) Designing the triple changers from scratch without media references allows designers to make a better toy, and that's what's most important.
