The fusion cannon looks too separated from his arm in the photo, but it looks like the connecting post can fold up into the cannon's body, and if I'm not mistaken, it looks like there's another grip within the body of the cannon itself (there's a post of lighter plastic visible in the back view of the cannon above the cannon's post, likewise, the main post looks like it's connected via a hinge). If I'm right, they may have designed the cannon to be held in a way that evokes ROTF Megatron's "murder arm".
