Paying in full for all six figures was $282, and paying for each of the three installments throughout the year was $94. And that's all before shipping costs and the $3 online processing fee.

Thanks, Sabr! I'm surprised it's so cheap... I was expecting the $400+ Botcon prices. So how much extra is shipping??? :BANG_HEAD:

282/7 = $40.29. Not TOO bad, given the crazy Botcon prices for similar figures. I'm pleasantly surprised... Might actually buy into something like this - big thanks for the info! :michaelbay:

Depends on the shipping service chosen. They're all different prices, and all varyingly dependent on the base price of the item(s) being purchased.

Since the 7th figure is technically free (if one goes for all six), dividing by 6 might be more mathematically accurate. ;)

:BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: I'm very distrustful of "it depends" when asking about shipping. If this were eBay, it'd be SOMEWHAT excusable, but I expect a certain level of planning from larger outfits, so it's a bit odd to see FunPub not include the shipping price in the total. I guess they're trying to "price" the set low, sticking S&H separately, as though it has nothing to do with them or the actual price of the shipped items? :???:

You must be like catnip to the ladies! "Buy 2, get 1 free!" So you're not REALLY paying for 3 - you're paying for 2! ;) Such good consumers we are! (I hope you don't mind the teasing! :P )

On the other hand, you could say that the 7th figure is NOT free: it costs $282. Since you cannot individually buy the "free" figure, you must pay all $282 to own it, and thus the other 6 figures could be seen as "free" if all you really wanted was the 7th. :-B

EDIT: No, wait - let's go full nerd: 5 deluxes and 2 scouts? So technically, you cannot divide equally, as the size (thus prices) are not equal. So what's the official ratio valuation of deluxe to scout then? 1 scout = 1/2 deluxe? I'm new here, so I'll let a senior member give me the official valuation ratio, as my own determination of said figure would most likely face correction. From there, we could easily devise the mathematical formula for the exact valuation of these figures, and if we have the shipping rates, we can get even more accurate by including the options.

OR... we could just go with my general calculation of about $40 each. It's a blue pill, red pill situation? :michaelbay:

I think it's like this. If you buy something from the Club store that totals out to $10, then there's one set of shipping prices to choose from based on that $10 base price. But, if your purchase totals out to $20 instead, then there's another, slightly higher set of shipping prices to choose from based now on the $20 base price, since the base price is now larger itself.

Granted, it's been a while since I purchased something from the Club store (haven't had to buy anything from the Club, lately) so there could be more to it than what I'm trying to remember.

The "another feature" is probably just an artistic way of referring to the next figure to be shown. ;)

1) You can sign up for the club at any time, though the date lines only indicate which annual free figure you'll receive. If you sign up now, you'll get next year's figure: Protoform X aka Rampage
2) The Subscription Service is members only. We've yet to receive details like pricing and availability, but expect those to come after the final reveal.

In addition, you can buy them on eBay by clicking here or from our advertisers. BigBadToyStore.com has them available at http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=265&category=1519

Thanks to both of you for the reply. Those ebay prices don't look too bad since I just want Barricade and Chromedome. Guess I will have to wait and see how much they announce they are through the club. One more question: Can I just buy those 2 as a member of the club or do I have to buy all figures? I saw someone mention that they payed 3 installments over a year for all 7 figures.

I'm a member, but didn't sign up for the subscription service. I'm still able to order the figures from the Club, but after the fact. For example, they had Scourge in the club store for a couple weeks, and currently have Slipstream up (they'll probably put Circuit up soon, too).

Ah, so being a club member is separate from the figure subscription service. Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention when I was looking over their site. I just want those 2 figures so I need to read it again to make sure, thanks.

The Subscription Service is entirely optional, but once you sign up for one set you get all 6 figures. Any leftovers will go into the Club Store, but you'll need to be quick as some items sell out within a day.

Before you decide to forgo the membership/subscription, you might want to do the math. By the time you add up the cost of buying just the two figures you want, you may find it's more economical to get a subscription and get all six. Even if you don't want the other four, you could sell them to pay for the two you keep.
