Thanks to our friend captain N for dropping by with this bit of info on an upcoming Transformers: Cybertron The Complete Series DVD release from Shout! Factory. TVShowsonDVD discovered the pre-order on Amazon, however the listing error currently has the set titled as only The Complete Series. The set is listed for $31.49 with an August 5th release date.

Here's a screen capture from TVShowonDVD of the listing prior to the error removing Transformers: Cybertron from the title:

I'm happy with my Paramount set, especially after having gotten the replacement disc with the corrected version of the episode called "Hidden".
If you've read Exodus, wanna read the War For Cybertron comic? PM me.

The strongest cartoon in the Unicron Trilogy comes out just in time for my birthday? It's like Shout!'s reading my mind.

Our friends at Shout! Factory have fully revealed their upcoming Transformers Cybertron: The Complete Series DVD set. See the cover art and product info mirrored below. This set is scheduled to released on August 8th for $37.99.

The Conclusion Of The Unicron Trilogy!

Unicron has been defeated, but his destruction has created a black hole, which is threatening the Autobots’ home world of Cybertron. It’s up to Optimus Prime, his team of heroic Autobots and their new human friends — Coby, Lori and Bud — to secure the four mystical Cyber Planet Keys, in order to destroy the black hole. Unfortunately, Megatron and the Decepticons are always lurking. And if the Cyber Planet Keys fall into their hands, it could mean the end of life as we know it. The race is on!

Is that... NEW ARTWORK?!!!!

If it is, then WOW! They actually put effort into that instead just just recycling some old piece of existing artwork. Just further goes to show how much more TLC was put in Cybertron over its two predecessors for the English-speaking market. :D

Though, if it's not new artwork and is just another recycled piece from the past, at least they went with something purdy. =P~

Still don't need to buy since I've already got the series on DVD from Paramount (corrected episode disc and all).

What's more interesting is that Amazon keeps on slowly jacking up the price. Originally, it was $31.49, then $34 something, now nearly $38.
