Yea this comes a little late, 13 years to be exact, but we now have info confirming the existence of five Lucky Draw Gold Beast Wars figures. There have been rumours concerning the existence of a gold version of Optimus Primal, the season one body, but now we know that the rumours where not only true, but that there actually where more Beast Wars Lucky Draw figures!
This information comes to us thanks to luckydrawtransformers.com the largest Lucky Draw Transformers resource on the web, in English at least. Luckydrawtransformers.com have published scans of "TV Magazine" March 1998, they have also translated the Japanese text, we have decided to mirror the list of figures and one of the scans, so if you wish to read their full article please click here.
The figures are (you'll find the English names, and the galleries of the retail version of the figure in brackets):

Gold Convoy (Optimus Primal)
Gold Cheetas (Cheetor)
Gold Rattle (Rattrap)
Gold Rhinox (Rhinox)
Gold Megatron (Megatron)
Gold Dinobot (Dinobot)

Cheetor is the sexz. Wonder if the owner of the figures have kept them... or knew that they'd be going for huge $$ now.

I believe the full set no-longer exists since it looks like there was just one full set of 5 figures made.
The easiest to find would be Primal, of which we've never seen a real one, only forgeries.

I guess the magazine scans are the most we'll see of these figures.

THIS should have been this years BotCon set!! Just sayin'.

Is Dinobot missing pieces or something? Obviously he's missing his mutant head, but I think he's missing his dino head too.

It's taken 13 years as back when the magazine came out, 1998, the internet wasn't as popular as it is today (it was a year before Transformers At The Moon and Seibertron). There wasn't as much interested in Transformers, and these were the first chromed prized toys, what we know as "Lucky Draws" - other than the two statues and a Transformers Junior giftset.

The old copies of TV Magazine are hard to track down outside of Yahoo Japan and Mandarake). We spent two trips to Japan collecting magazines, and probably over 2000 gbp on getting back issues of TV Magazine, TV Boy and Comic Bom-Bom.

Back on the topic, it was unknown if these toys exists, what month, year and magazine they would have been in.
