I know some Transformer fans do not care for the movies while others do. Personally I thought DOTM was great. I have countless friends and coworkers who can't even name characters other than Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron and they loved it as well. What is important to me, is that Bay can/did turn a toy line/childrens cartoon into something so great to people who could care less about the toys and/or never seen the many adaptations of the cartoon. It's things such as these that will keep Transformers here for years to come, and bring more people to these forums/community. Yeah there are some things I wish were done differently, but that's how many people feel about movies all the time.

Since I saw the movie Tuesday evening, I've convinced many other friends and family to see it as well. Some people even asking if I thought it was appropriate for them to take their younger children to see. (I told them about some of the graphic robot destruction in it. It was pretty much what had happened in the second one, just more of it.)

Out of everyone who has seen it they have said it was amazing, and they are sad that this was the last one.(Most were upset the twins weren't in it. Which to be completely honest, I'm upset they weren't in it to sacrifice themselves.)

Part of what made Avatar so big is everyone telling their friends to see it. DOTM might not be as good as Avatar, but I'd put it up there with it, at least the best action movie since.(Personally, I think it is better). If you want more Live Action Transformers like myself, go out and tell your friends to see it. And on the plus side, Shia said he wont do anymore, thank god!

The fact it fell well short of ROTF's 5-day total shows you just how much that second film damaged the franchise's rep. But that's still awesome news. I hope it just keeps making more and more money.

I'm fine with another Transformers movie just as long as Michael Bay has nothing to do with it. Transformers needs to shut down like the Batman series did after George Clooney. So in about 8 years Transformers will get a reboot and it'll ignore everything that happened in this fantasy story of the Transformers.
