I went into my "Control Panel" To move some stuff around, and I noticed it said Warning Level [1]. I'm pretty sure I know why I was issued a warning, what I'm not sure about is what this could do? Like, if I get three do I get kicked off? I let slip a particularely bad word, if I remember correctly, And I was (Almost) Warned on sig size? If I was warned, I may need warning level 2. Anyway, my general question is, what happens after a certain point? (Not that I'm going to cross said point, I'm just curious)

I checked in my Control Panel, couldn't find anything about warnings. Maybe if I have no warnings, nothing appears?

hmmm interesting question BP, because your warning was issued on the 4th January, but there's no note attached to it so i'm not sure why you got it.

Realistically we only ban someone if they're a serious problem. You know, attacks other users constantly and doesn't quit even after warnings. People like that are few and far between though.

We also take into account what else they've done on the site and the time between warnings. And yes, even Mods get warnings, even if they are dealt out by douchebags with a vendetta.

I have a question about this myself. Do warnings go away over a period of time, because I've been warned three or four times but my level is only two.

By the way, my New Year's resolution is to be less of an @$$hole.

There's only two recorded warnings on your profile. Chances are the others you're thinking of may have just been cautionary.

We like to give people a chance before issuing formal warnings. Most things can slide by if we just give you a tap on the shoulder. But if that tap has to turn into a thump, then a warning yee shall get!
