Yeah, TRU is just goofy with those polybags. I found three of the MF one on the pegs that I bought without needing the promo. So, it's like sometimes they stick to the promo rules and sometimes they just throw them on the pegs. Seems to be the same for the Mirkwood Elf.

I hear that about S9 and S10, both look really good. Especially after how weak S8 was. I'm also glad the new case break-down has six of certain army builder types, so it might make that easier.

Nothing at Lynnwood TRU but a lone Hot Spot. No MPOPs and no Legos of note.

Lynnwood Toys R Us had Mirkwood elves this morning, but a lady cleared them out. She also got a bunch of the LOTR project cases. Hopefully she was a SEALUG member -- I wouldn't mind losing out to one since they are collectors. I know they were trying to do a group buy.

BB.206 are you in SEALUG? I keep meaning to look into it..

Everett TRU: GDO Powerdive x1. Also Lego TMNT '13 sets. No polybags.

I am, but not really an active member. I've met some people from there. Most of them are pretty cool. They usually have their meetings in the south end and east side. I haven't been to one yet.

The more I think about it -- the lady that cleaned out the elves must have been a SEALUG member. There is no real reason to buy 6+ LOTR project cases. I know one of the members is moving from Harry Potter builds to LOTR/Hobbit builds. So, that might be her.

Anyone spot the NECA Gollum/Smeagol at TRU yet? I'm on the fence, since some of the in-hand pics just look ok. But after this weekend, the Hobbit/LOTR frenzy may take over absolutely.

Lynnwood TRU: Magnus and Thundertron x1 each. GDO Deluxes - full set. NECA Rocky III Rocky x3, Clubber Lang x1. TMNT Classics x3 full sets - they're on pegs, and the card condition isn't the best. TBD Hobbit 6" figures - one set, minus Tauriel (I don't know why people still think she's rare). Nothing exciting in Legos...

I have been looking for them too. I REALLY want one for me and one for my daughter to play with. Im a huge Tolkien geek but I havent seen them yet.

The Tauriel thing is because a couple months ago when it was announced The Hobbit would become 3 movies instead of 2, it was semiannounced that Tauriel would have to be moved to the second movie and would not feature in An Unexpected Journey. However the toyline was already coming out so the packaging, case assortment, etc. wasnt changed. So shes still in the toyline and people thought shed become "rare and hard to find" blah blah. More scalper crap really.

The Tauriel issue I already knew - I've been stalking... I mean "watching" this line very closely for months. I just think it's funny that people still think she's a big deal when other licenses have also put out material from what would have been the end of the first movie, back when there was just supposed to be two. Lego has a Mirkwood Spiders and Barrel Escape sets that feature characters that were due to be in the first movie before the re-organization of it.

Since we're on the subject, I wonder when/if we'll ever see the UK 6" Yazneg and Australia 4" Invisible Bilbo figures stateside. I was hoping they'd be an exclusive somewhere in time for the movie, but that's not going to happen. There are so few places carrying the line anyway and with wave two being released sometime in the spring, we could've used the boost.

Nutimus, have you gotten into any of the new Weta stuff?

My boyhood Marvel nostalgia is coming back. I found all my old ToyBiz toys and realized I miss my childhood comic days.

Anyone seen a Dark Galactus? I saw a regular Galactus the other day and thought he looked better than I thought. And the store had 8 or 9 SDCC colored Sentinels I wanted lol.

I haven't looked at MU stuff in awhile. I'll keep an eye, though.

Anyone spotting the NECA Gollum/Smeagol yet? The TRUs up here are a damn mess...

Im going to TRU again tonight so Ill check for Gollum/ Smeagol... again. lol I really want them.

Snagged a Thundertron at TJ Maxx the other day for about $13. TJ Maxx and Ross are getting PRiD stuff now. Saw several deluxes and voyagers scattered across both stores.

Gollum/ Smeagol is on TRU website but not in store. None are on the manifest for the next truck or two at my TRU. TRU website has Gollum but shows the Smeagol head tho. And the behind the scenes manifest lists it as Smeagol not Gollum so this is sure to create some confusion lol.

Olympia TRU late last night: FE deluxes restocked 2-3 of each, 2-3 PRiD Dreadwing/ Thundertron/ Ultra Magnus, but prices up $1-3 for bogo 40% off sale, no MPs at all, nothing else of note, no overflow, freight was cancelled last night too

Elsewhere I found 1 silver Marvel Universe Sentinel and 7 purple decos. Still holding out for Dark Galactus, I really started late. Saw some Marvel Legends I hadn't seen before. Green suit Spider-Man looks cool.

My Marvel nostalgia is kickin in and driving the wife nuts, she was already letting me take over the place with Transformers now Im asking for more lol.

Yea, EE has the Gollum/Smeagol at $85 for both, so I might just go with that. Kinda sucks, my last two big NECA wants - Gollum and Gordon Freeman have been very hit or miss at TRUs. And with NECA paint, it's always better to see in person and then decide.

Speaking of hit or miss, it's a shame the new ML line is so hard to find, or I might be in on that. I barely saw any of W1 and only found W2 at the Disney stores until recent restocks at TRU about a month ago. Walmart and Target are really a bust with that line. W3 is out, but I haven't seen any of it aside from a couple figures at the LCS. I like the line, but I know there's no way I'd be willing to keep up or go to online only.

Apparently, FYE stores also have the Gollum/Smeagol figures. The local one over did not have any, but there are reports across the US of FYEs getting them in with their other action figure items.

FYI, I highly recommend the Weta Hobbit Chronicles book.

Lynnwood TRU: FE Optimus x2 (in pretty good condition), FoC (or Generations, can't remember all the lines) Disks x4 each. Star Wars '13 vehicle/figure pack - Obi-Wan and Pilot Droid x1 (no other '13 items).

Lynnwood Target: Prime Rumble, Sgt Kup, Voy Magnus, and Voy Thundertron x1 each.

Everett Walmart: TF FoC Ultra Magnus x1, Sideswipe x2. Nothing else of note.

Lynnwood TRU: Nothing of note. Though I did find a weird Terminator 2 generic-Lego set I had never seen before. Came with four T-800 Endos and some human marines and was actually a license Terminator product. Can't remember the manufacturer or price.

Edit: Made by Best-Lock and apparently they aren't so good...

Got lucky and found PRID Skyquake at Southcenter TRU last night. He was the only one there, but they had some other leftover non-Beast Voyagers (PRID Ultra Magnus, Dreadwing, Thundertron) in addition to all the BH stuff.
