^Sounds like it was a good time, I will definately be there next year. I have a little budgetary problem right now, as well as a motivation problem (which probably led to my budgetary problem). If all goes well with my projects that I am starting this year, I am gonna be looking at dropping a grip of cash. Atleast I have about 365 days to get it done.

Hate to cramp your schedule Barrelass but they are doing next years show at the start of April. Depending on when BotCon is scheduled for, this could be a bad thing since I plan on attending next year even if I have to sit on a Greyhound bus for 4 days to get there, wherever there is. There's no way I could afford 2 Cons in one month.
Hell, with BotCon being one of the conventions, I'd be hard pressed to afford a 2nd convention anytime in the same year. I plan on taking 2 suitcases and one of them is going to be empty when I arrive.

Stopped at the Smokey Pt. Target on the way back from Mt.Vernon this evening. Scored the last Deluxe class Premium they had, Jazz.
Only had the G1 colored exclusive till now. After yesterday, I needed more Transformers like I need a hole in my head, but I found the $6.99 price tag to be a justifiable excuse for getting it.
What I am really after, aside from 08 BB which I am only half enthusiastically pursuing, is another Target Scout class Armorhide and the right Hotwheels Trucin' Transport trailer to go with it.
Both pieces are going to get the G1 Prime treatment and if I can find the right Hot Wheels car, it's going to get "Roller"fied. I think one of my Gundams may be switching heads with Armorhide which will look cool on the truck and funny as hell on the Gundam when it's all done.

Oh yeah, Checked out both Lynnwood and Everett Wal-Marts late last night and found a whole lot of nothing, so if you haven't been yet today, you haven't missed out on anything.

Quick Update: If anyone missed out on the Target 2 Disc release of the TF Movie with the Transforming case, there is one in stock at the Everett store. I haven't seen any floating around for quite some time and was amazed to find this one. The outer case is not in the best of shape, but that is just flimsy thin plastic. The transforming case appeared to still be in good condition. Even if you have an exclusive from another store, this one would be good just for the collector value.

Thanks CJ7 I was able to pick up a Zev and a about 3 COmmander Neyo's from the E WM. I am going to try and customize them to help my reconnaissance forces in my clone army.

Emerald City Comic Con was really awesome. They had a lot of cool stuff...infact WAY too much cool stuff. Talk about SW, TF and G.I.Joe heaven. Ofcourse it doesnt beat Botccon's TF vendors, but the diversity of merchandise to purchase was amazing. Some vendors were selling some stuff for way too much, but there were still a lot og good deals all around. I was able to get a Utapua Trooper, AOTC Preview Jango, Shadow Stormtrooper, Gamestop Steel CQB Spartan and the red OVA Spartan for pretty reasonable prices. I was also able to get some cool SW Graphic Novels and a few Spider Man comics. But I was able to pick up the Ewok 2 pack of Romba and Garak(SP?) and finish off my SW 30th Anni coin album.

But now I need to pack up all of my TF's and other figures and pack everything up as me and my Fiancee have to move. Our Apt is raising our rent around a extra $100 so I get to go through all of this fun stuff now. I am staying in the general area but I am moving from N Lynnwood to S Everett.

This is better than a sighting. My client today (who I thought looked somewhat familiar when he opened the door) was the same guy who sold me the loose G1 Metroplex at the Comic Convention this last weekend. Turns out that his shop is just 2 miles at most from his condo and after some TF conversation (started by him noticing the Autobot Pin on my jacket) I got invited to follow him down to the shop after I completed the work I was doing. You name it, this guy has it in his shop. I saw toys that I thought I would never actually lay my eyes on in person. Whatever you guys need, whether it's TF, GI Joe, Halo, Robotech, Voltron, you name it, Amazing Heroes in Kirkland has it. The owners name is Tysan James and he is a very cool, very personable guy to deal with. Hell, payment for my work wound up coming in the form of a check and 2 more figures to add to my Prime Collection. Next week, after a substantial payment from a client that I have waited on for nearly 10 months finally comes in, I'm going back for Classics Soundwave and a MOC WalMart excl. BW Tripredacus Agent.
He's got original G1 figures (like Megatron and Fortress Maximus) with their original packaging.
He also does online sales but trust me, seeing the stuff in his shop is way better than checking toys out online. As impressed as I was with the Convention, I was blown away walking into his store.

**edit** I mentioned Fortress Maximus in the above post when I meant to say Metroplex. If he has Fort Max, it wasn't in the front of the store...however a complete G1 Scorponok was.

Also, I am selling a sizeable collection of original 80's GI Joe figures and vehicles to Tysan this next week. Lots of stuff so if there is a certain figure or vehicle you may want, PM me and I'll see if it is in the collection and set it aside. Otherwise they will likely be gone by Wednesday.

I checked out Amazing Heroes the first week it opened and yes it has ALOT of merchandise. The owner has complete sets of alot of older toys, TF, Joe's, etc. The pricing is reasonable as he has alot of experience on Ebay and knows what pricing is fair.

As for hunting, I've been out almost every day this week and have found nothing exciting. The Premium Leaders and Voyagers are at most Targets and TRUs. I did find the new wave (the one with Dispensor) of Robot Heroes at Woodinville Target. I was not impressed, the "hereos" style figure (TF, SW, or Marvel) have not looked good since the SW figures of 2006.

On a side note, if anyone finds any Marvel Legends figures anywhere aside form Lynnwood, Redmond, or Bellevue, could you let me know which ones and location? I'm working on a set of the Hasbro ones.

It's an economy car - decent gas mileage. I know, it's kinda dumb to go out so much, i've just been hitting alot of places going after the Marvel Legends and Batman stuff.

Stupid Heath Leger, why'd he have to die and make his Joker figure so valuable... :)

Got $35 in Play Rewards from Hasbro today. Mailed it in 4 days after the due date, so I feel a little lucky. Just have to wait for some animated now.

Not really a TF sighting, but area Targets are putting up their Dark Knight stuff. No Movie Master figures, so I can't get the Joker there.

I was able to get the wave 2 Marvel Mighty Muggs done, which helps.

Went out Birthday shopping with my Mom this morning since she has no clue what to get for my son and she also gets a 10% discount at Target. They had Premium Blackout (which my youngest son will be getting now) and they also have most of the new round of Robot Heroes.
I say most because my mom picked up Ironhide/Dispensor for me. She saw my eyes lite-up when I dug it out of the back of the stack and I gave her a brief back-story of the Mt.Dew-Bot.
Oh yeah, this was at the Everett Target. I did a quick run through Ev. Wal-Mart last night and found nothing worthwhile but on a run through the Totem Lake Fred Meyer a few nights ago I did find the newest wave of Real Gear including the green "Twitcher" game controller.

Anyone have any Japanese contacts to get the Classics Skywarp/Thundercrackers? I am trying to work two contacts, but am not counting on any rate of success. If I do find one, I will keep people posted so maybe we can save on some shipping or something.

I have a friend that is currently in Japan, but he'll only be there until August. I still might ask him to look around for me and I'll let you all know if he's able to pick up anything.

Stuff for sale

Postby Guest » Sat May 24, 2008 12:23 pm

This posting is by Cyberjet #7, for some reason I can't seem to log on right.

Due to some *major* personal setbacks I've decided to sell some portions or my action figure collections. These are some inital items and I may update with more later in the week. I request that buyers be willing to meet-up to make the exchange, as it may save me on shipping and ensure a smooth transaction - I may still consider shipping, though. I will be checking here daily and WILL reply to every PM sent to me. All items are in mint shape, as I am a collector and these pieces were choosen by condition for my personal collection. Prices are not listed, as I am taking the best offers. Thank you for looking.

Transformers:

Legends: Prime, Megatron, Blackout, Barricade, Starscream
Screen Battles: Capture of Bumblebee, First Encounter
Deluxe: Walmart Jolt x2, Big Daddy x2, Divebomb
Target scout class: Elita One

Star Wars:
2005 Target exclusive "Duel at Mustafar" Vader (no clamshell, but does have cardboard insert)

2006 UGH Slave-1 x2 (both have some damage to the peg-holding section)
2008 Mighty Muggs: Han, Chewie, Vader (opened with all tray parts, so they can still fit back in the box)
2008 Mighty Muggs: Boba Fett (sealed)

not sure if this has already been reported or if it is the same for other targets but i was at the renton target earlier this morning and noticed that the deluxe figs are back to 9.99 :|

if anyone is interested, renton target had 1 premium jazz and a bunch of older figs.
renton walmart has everything (except for premium BB)! there are a ton of deluxe figs on a back endcap. saw at least 5 stealth BB's, and a handfull of both premium jazz and barricade. they also had the premium voyagers. passed on everything since all im looking for now is premium BB.

After hearing sightings of Animated in Cali., I was wondering if anyone has seen anything yet.

I should be out hunting this weekend, haven't had much time lately with finals and graduation coming up.

Stopped by Everett WalMart today. No sign of animated. After hearing sightings in Oregon and northern Cali. I think they should hit us this weekend if not earlier.

I'm just looking to pick up Grimlock and Prowl.

Blind luck strikes again. A few days back, the Everett Wal-Mart restocked a handfull of the exclusive figures and I wandered in when there was 1 Grindcore left. No Big Daddy and a few each of Jolt and the crappy colored jet repaint. I don't know if any of the other Wal-Marts are restocking them or if Everett WM just had some floating around and finally spewed forth the last of their stock of these.
Either way, I finally managed to get one of the two that I was after without having to order it, so I'm happy

Went on a bit of a run today, nothing new in the south sound. My cousin did send me Animated Prowl and BB from canada for my birthday. Prowl is definately a lot better than I thought he would be. But I think I may have to pass on most of these animated. I have to draw the line somewhere, and these could get out of hand fast.

Did find my cousin all the Wave 7 & 8 GI Joes about a week or so ago, those things fly off the shelf. I picked them up at 1:30am, and had to go back to get one that I forgot at 7:30am and they were almost all cleared out. Also scored myself the Target HISS Tank and the AWE Striker, although I will probably keep them packed away in hopes of trading them in the future (if there is ever any demand for them).

I am just glad that I am done chasing down exclusives for a while. I would still probably search a bit for Premium BB and DS Starscream, but they arn't as high on my priority list anymore.

I've been out of town for a week and dealing with a blown up engine this last week but I did have one brief glimmer of joy during my 2 week stretch of hell. While I was not able to jump on the info that CJ7 gave me about the Target excl. Armorhide that I have so desperately sought (boss didn't drop off the paycheck in time) I was able to lay my hands on Big Daddy! I also have Fracture but I am going to have to return her to help with automotive expenses but I'll sell parts of my anatomy before I return Big D.
Aside from that, nothing new. Work has become non-existent so I doubt I will be getting anything new for quite some time or be able to do much hunting for others. If I do get the chance to scout outside of the areas most of you already cover, I'll certainly let you all know. For now I'm going to kick back and play with Big Daddy *heh heh heh*

Nothing new TF-wise to report.

ACSS - Bellevue TRU has wave 3 Halo 3 figures, nothing special/exclusive, it seems to be just the basic assortment.

T-Mack - If you missed it at Everett, the Woodinville Target has Armorhide, too. They also have Arcee and Hardtop, so they must've been clearing out the warehouse.

Trainwreck - I've been seeing tons of MM Jokers lately at TRUs and Targets. You should be able to get him easily by now. LMK if you still need help.

For those keeping track, I'm caught up on the Marvel Legends Target exclusives and the ML two-packs. Still on the hunt for the DC Universe figures, all except wave 1 (which is the Batman wave). And to a lesser degree the Iron Man wave 3 figures - Cap A Armor, Stealth, and Satelite.
