Sightings (or lack thereof)

Lynnwood Walmart: Nothing in ROTF. They put out new Terminator stuff - more accurately it's new for them, but it's just the Wave 1 assortments.

Lynnwood TRU: Also nothing in ROTF - so much for a Preview wave release date. Nothing else much of note.

Lynnwood Target: The same as above.

BB.206 - PM sent.

After seeing Star Trek for a second time, I went out to grab some of those figures. Before they get swept away by the juggernaut that will be the ROTF toys.

Lynnwood TRU: Nothing of note. Some MU Wave 3 revision asst.
***BB.206 - I can say this now because they're probably not all going to go anytime soon, but TRU had about four of the LeBron vinyl figures; probably more, because I lost count.

Lynnwood Walmart: Grabbed the last 6" Uhura, nothing else of note.

Lynnwood Fred Meyers: No ROTF stuff and nothing else of note.

Lynnwood Big Lots: Three different types of TF Universe 1.0 Scout class. Also *many* Robot Heroes - more recent Wave asst, the same stuff you can find at retail now. The only generic TFs they had were two of the Transmetal 2 Megs (still) - looks horrible for $12.99.

I am bothered a bit if Kicks isn't doing well, because the few times I went there it seemed like a decent store, but beyond that my only complain about Washington is that I can't go down and check up on stuff more often these days. The few times recently I've gone to Bellingham, has been when almost nothing is on the shelves. But at least I can see friends at the same time.

and get Jack in the Box. love that stuff.

Well, you can even ask the guys over at TFW2005, I've always been of the mindset that people in Canada that are having trouble catching up with some TFs should definately network the guys in the States. Is there anything you're looking for in particular? I'm in the WA northend, so meeting someone halfway to help them get stuff they may be having trouble finding is not too bad of a drive for me.

So, yea, if you need help; just shout out. And get a list together. I can either find exactly what you're looking for or I can at least point you to the better stores in WA; so you're not wasting a trip.

totally dude...miasboytoy up in Vancouver makes a trip down every now and then but a lot of us Washington guys help him out. I'm definitely going to start posting more often here on seibertron. Those mods at TFW2005 are total nazis...I'd copy/paste what they wrote me via PM but I'm sure that'll get me banished which would not be cool.

Anyways, wish I had something to report but nada in my neck of the woods today.

Regarding kicks, sorry to make it sound like they're going out of business... They might actually be doing okay but I just noticed the store is looking pretty run down and Jose hasn't been stocking like Sui Wai did. We'll have to give it a few months to see what happens. I'm sure this crappy economy isn't helping things out. I can speak for several of us who use to shop frequently at kicks... I remember when I use to spend an average of $200-300 a month on toys there but now it's more like $20 a month.

I used to shop at Kicks, but now I mostly just hit TFsource.com. Reasonable prices, plus they do a great job with shipping things in very minty condition - which helps me as I tend to keep the Japanese stuff either MISB or MIB (even if I open some, the boxes are good for storage).

I think maybe Jose will stock more in the coming months so that he can ride the ROTF gravy train.

Anybody looking for anything right now? Seems like alot of people are just holding out for the ROTF stuff.

Welcome aboard to Seibertron.com, FuRiOus_StyLeZ!

Keep looking for those ROTF figures my fellow Seibertronians. Here's a preview of the figures I got my hands on this past week in the Chicago, Illinois area:

Yeah I am pretty much holding out for rotf stuff. I am all caught up on what's out for now.

thanks for the welcome! :D

I'm pretty much caught up on stuff....just finishing up my Henkei collection right now. Finally got my thrust and ramjet in the mail yesterday...totally hurt the wallet but at least my seeker collection is complete!! :SMUG:

I'm not big into the movie stuff but I definitely want the leader class figures after seeing Megs and Optimus at Bombatron's the other day. The Ironhide and Jetfire look pretty sick as well...

Nothing special in the northend today. This includes the big three in both Lynnwood and Everett.

Woodinville Target does have the DCUC Wave 7b with variant Booster Gold.

BB.206 - Everett TRU has two of the vinyl LeBrons, as well as the others.

Holy Smokes have I been out of the loop! Cyberjet, I'm sorry to hear that the nods at TFW got so high and mighty that they couldn't discuss the situation like grown adults. I would agree from what I've read and what Perithimus told me that your banishment from TFW was like a kid throwing a temper tantrum simply because you didn't agree with them.

I haven't been active on Seibertron because I've been active on TFW for the past year or so under the handle Black Omega. I guess I'll have to split my time between here and TFW if I am to keep in touch with all of you guys.

On a sighting note, I haven't seen anything worth mentioning in my area. I noticed that my local Target is clearancing out their universe stock. Probably to prepare for ROTF.

I was inspired to pick up the $30 Enterprise replica for myself after seeing the movie. And what's worse is that I now have an Enterprise collecting plastc crack addiction. I picked up the Enterprise A & Enterprise E from Action city Comics in Federal Way. I'll be getting the Enterprise D when it is released next month. And I'm getting the Enterprise B from a friend on the TFW boards that also collects Star Trek.

And I've turned my 6 year old son into a Trekkie!

Black Omega - welcome!

Or at least, welcome back... or something like that... wait you've been here longer than me... ahhh...

I think you get what I'm saying. :D

Yea, Star Trek has really surprised me. I didn't have high expectations, but I was impressed. Enough so that I have two of 12" figures and six of the 6" figures, plus the Hot Wheels scaled Enterprise D - I'm mostly a TNG fan, myself.

Wolverine wasn't very good. I was hugely dsappointed there.

Terminator doesn't look too great - I'm not very confident about that one, but I'll still try to see it this week.

And sadly, ROTF doesn't really look that great to me. I still can't get over Devastator and Megs.

I will agree by saying that Star Trek was one hell of a movie. I didn't have very high expectations for it either but I was proven wrong. As far as sightings here.....NO! Everything is drained. Target here also has universe toys on clearance. Gotta make that room for ROTF toys. I of course can't wait. I have to get that leader Prime.

Woodinville Target just swapped their SW and TFs sections in the aisle. It looks like the new TF home section is bigger, but I was expecting it to have even more space. As for what they had, there was *very* little.

I get what you're saying. It's nice to hear from you too.

I'm probably a big TNG fan right with you. I watched the fist couple of seasons of the TNG series as a kid with my mom. And contiued watching it on my own. I can't wait until I get the Diamond Select release of the Enterprise D next month.

Ironically I like Wolverine myself. And I'm really looking forward to ROTF. But I won't be gettign the ROTF toys. they seem like more of the same from the first movie. Not that that is a bad thing. I just have enough movie toys for my tastes.
I have to agree that I'm not sure about Terminator though.

Is there a certain figure you're waiting to see drop in price? I've seen just Silverbolt and Onslaught up here, but I can let you know when those get low.

Pretty much any of the Ultra class..just looking for extras to pop open for display - Onslaught, Powerglide, Silverbolt.

On a sightings note, I was at Albertsons today picking up a few things and came across an endcap with these marked down to $3.99:

Haven't seen any classics in retail in a while. Maybe some stockboy came across a case of these sitting on the loading dock. hehehe.

Nice. What else was on the endcap? Did it look like they were just running a bunch of different toys, or did it look planned?

it looked planned...it was basically one shelf of transformers legends. didn't see any other figures besides leo prime and soundwave. The rest of the endcap was actually grocery stuff...

ROTF Legends at Lynnwood TRU: BB, Megs, Prime, Jetfire, SS, Springer, and Sideswipe. $4.99, two of each.

ROTF Deluxe's at Lakewood Fred Meyer...not sure if someone had already beaten me there this morning but all they had on the pegs/display were Sideways and Sideswipe but as of 11 am, there were 7 sets sitting there. Happy Hunting! :)

Marysville Walmart: Fully loaded on older TFA stuff. They do have the Star Trek figures on sale, but they have none of the good stuff left. I just bought the Hot Wheels 1701-A ship and the 6" Nero for $15 total. Looks like they're probably gearing up for next week(end).

Unconfirmed report that the Bothell Fred Meyers has a display of the ROTF deluxes out.

Confirmed report that the Lynnwood Fred Meyers had the ROTF deluxes out, but none remain.

Bothell Fred Meyers: Confirmed that they do have ROTF deluxes - Lots of Sideways, Breakaway x2, Bug-eyed BB x3. I saw these myself.

Totem Lake Freddies: No ROTF.

Lynnwood Walmart and TRU: Nothing of note.
