Adam "MCA" Yauch of the Beastie Boys died today at the age of 47 due to cancer..... Sad day

Yeah, queued up 'Ill Communication' when I heard. It's a real shame. I'd hoped Adam was going to beat this and the Beasties would get back out on tour. When he didn't make it for the RRHOF induction though, I kinda figured things had taken a bad turn.

I knew that back in 2010, or 2009 I think, they were supposed to be working on another album, but it got postponed. I didn't know what the reason was.......

This guy was awesome. License to Ill was one of the first albums I ever owned. He'll be missed.

Check Your Head was one of the first albums I ever bought. Beasties are one of my favorite bands. I have been playing their albums in my car since I heard the news.
