As detailed in the original leak of the DLC release here, the New Map and Character Pack DLC includes new characters Scattershot and Onslaught, as well as Shockwave, Jazz, and Demolishor, who were originally exclusive to pre-order customers at particular retail locations. The DLC also contains two new multiplayer maps, and also doubles the number of maps for the Horde-like Escalation mode to four.

IGN.com is reporting that Activision and High Moon Studios will be new downladable content for both the PS3, and X-box 360 versions of 'The Transformers War For Cybertron' video game.

Unfortunately for some folks who may have spent some really good money on eBay to get the codes for downloading specific character skins that were made available when pre-ordering the game from certain retailers, a lot of the new DLC is those characters, as well as new maps!

The DLC is to be made available on July 27th for PSN and XBox Live and will cost $10.00 or 800 MS points.

So I'm guessing that Jazz and Demolisher are Soldiers, Onslaught is a Leader, and Shockwave is a Scientist. Any word on what Scattorshot will be?

I believe Jazz is a scout. Demolisher is a leader (I think). Onslaught and Scattershot are soldiers. Shocky is definetly a scientist. Some of the new clips look like they will be making good use of jet modes It will be nice to finally be able play more Esc maps. Hopefully they will be more balanced than the current ones.

Wait, just got a closer look at the title of the news post, so the pack for Xbox is coming out a day later? Is that true? Dang, I want it on the 27th

My guess: Onslaught's the leader chassis for the Decepticons. His alt mode looks more like a heavy truck/APC vehicle, than a typical Soldier chassis with a heavy cannon in alt mode.

Demolisher, usually a tank, must be a Soldier.
Scattershot, from the looks of the Concept Art section on WFC, seemed to have a tank-esque mode, with a cannon on top.
Jazz definitely is a Scout.
Shockwave's the Scientist.

My thoughts at least. Having Onslaught as a soldier just.... doesn't fit, in terms of looks. His chassis and armaments etc.

It's time like this where I wish my mom would let me have Xbox Live on my 360...

No while the person's thread title says the 28th, I did not read anywhere that there is any other date than the 27th.

Onslaught is a leader. The cons only have one leader right now.
Scattorshot is a Soldier, so that the Bots have more than one soldier chassis.

We already know what the other three are.

demolishor is a soldier i have it by preorder with amazon. and shockwave is a scientist the others no idea. onslaught is either a leader or soldier. he is a solder (combaticon) but then again he is the leader of the combaticons. so he can be either of them. scattershot no idea. but jazz should definetly be a scout

just ordered it from amazon for the 42 bucks, and now will be able to get all the download characters. Glad I waited.

Shame he looks more like Cybertron Scattershot than the G1 leader of the Technobots.

Am I the only one who prefers G1 Onslaught over the Classics version which this skin seems based on?

He's obviously based on the Cybertron version

Also, this will be the first DLC I have ever bought. Cuz, Normally it goes against my code to pay for something I can't hold in my hands.
But Jazz is just awesome enough that I can let that slide. Even if his voice doesn't sound right.

Scattershot is a tank, therefore he is a soldier.
Onslaught is a truck, so he is a leader.
Jazz a car so he is a scout.
Shockwave a jet so he is a scientist.
Demolishor a tank so he is a soldier.

If you own the game you should know that scouts are always cars, scientists are always jets, leaders are always trucks, and soldiers are always tanks.

And what about PC content? Huh? Huh? C'mon, give it up for the PC users too!!

One question since I am new to the PS3/Xbox stuff: Is this only downloadable for a limited time? I will probably get a PS3 or Xbox 360 for Christmas this year, and I want WFC to go with it.

Usually no; you can still get uploads for the ROTF PS3 game on the PS network.

Damn. Why does it seem there is so little PC love for this game.

Though I expect the DLC will come out for PC...eventually.

Man. Ha. I havent even got the game yet. But this looks awesome. Air raid has been replaced by Onslaught.
