The Mayan calendar didn't take leap years into account, so technically, the 2012 "end of the world thing" happened earlier in the year.

Unless you count the reposts, in which case it hit the billion-view mark several months ago. Still, I have not discounted Oppa Gangnam style as the most likely candidate for causing the end of days. It's either that, or the sun exploding, and I think I'd put my money on the Korean dude dancing like some kind of insane cowboy.

Generally speaking my mind, all of this ["end of the world" thing] is a bunch of beryllium baloney. I don't know what's the purpose for all this. It's all just "provoking for mass-hysteria".
In late decades there's been MANY prophets of armageddon, who have all been wrong. One such guy brought upon a mass-suicide.
There's no evidence that anything's gonna happen

And now many are going crazy because some darn fool MISTRANSLATED a line from the mayan texts!
