Why not just editing your post so that it is on topic?

Got any transformers you find way too hard to transform?

The one figure that gave me more trouble than any other was RotF Long Haul. I never use instructions, but I came pretty damn close to breaking them out on this guy. The problem was his knees can bend 360 degrees. I couldn't figure out where his legs went or how they were supposed to fit in there. Pictures didn't help since they're totally covered in vehicle mode, but I eventually figured it out.

Not really.

I may transform Metroplex right, but his vehicle mode is so weird I never know if I got it right.

I can't transform Megatron without his arm breaking off (and I mean breaking. It's chipping away each time)

Arcee needs to see a doctor

Ultimate Bumblebee is confusing without instructions.

I can never get Primus to turn into a planet.

But let me put it this way, as I probably wasn't too specific. They're the hardest to transform in my collection, as everything else actually takes less than an hour >_>

You think these are bad, try transforming a DX Soul of Chogokin VF-29.
Makes even the hardest transformers seem like Robot heros.

Ran into a minor problem while attempting to transform Reveal the Shield Jazz today.

The heel on his foot got lodged way out of position compared to the rest of the foot, making it impossible to fold the feet into the trunk (because heel was hitting against on of those annyoing plates which are connected to a spring) and continue with the car transfomation.

Had to pull out some screwdrivers and disassemble his leg assembly to fix the problem.

Has anyone encountured a problem with these heels?

I did too, but I did not had to take out the power tools to fix this. I DO have a problem with him. Last time I tried to put it back in vehicle mode, I couldn't figure out how to put his goddamn speakers back inside his vehicle mode so that all the panels fit perfectly. Gaps. Gaps everywhere...

The speakers are so easy, they're not supposed to lie flat aginst the door, make sure they sit upwards against the door windows at a angle, when you attempt to close the door they should be easily visible on the front window and making the speakers look like eyes.

There was another problem i had, and the solution was of a type i usually try to avoid to do if it can be helped, but those 2 small pegs on his roof simply refused to go into their holes :BOOM:

So i used a solution i havent been proud of ever since doing it to my Cybertron Smokescreen :-x I had no alternative but to grab a pair of wire cutters and forcefully cut the damn annoying tabs off of Jazz's roof.

For Cybertron Smokescreen the problems were tabs on his doors which refused to fit, even after checking the instructions manual for hours.

I hate having to hurt my toys like this, it's a shameful act of destruction :-( but it's better than resorting to throwing a great toy into the trashcan out of frustration.

The two that I wish to mention one being recent is DOTM Soundwave and the other is TF/Star Wars Death Star Vader. I do admit that Soundwave has flaws like most TF's but I'm over most of them and I now have mastered and enjoy his transformation. It would have been cool if that damn Mechtech gimmick would allow his already cool looking weapon to lock but whacha gonna do I guess.

Then Vader which I had decided long before I got him that I would have zero desire to transform into the Death Star and rightly so. I watched several video reviews and all showed what a pain in the ass it was to get all those panels to fit around the Sith Lord. So without the need of transforming him he looks really cool in the stance I have him next to "Amazon" Unicron... ;)^. :VEHI:

Appart if the toy have some serious desigh flaws (I'm starring at you Gen. Wheeljack) I find myself transforming every TFs with ease, often without instructions.

I love transfroming my TFs and I do it often. So, I did notice certain patterns that tend to reapeat themselves. Mainly "allignt these panels" and "that peg go to that peg hole". By following these two basic principles, I can transform anything. Ofthen, you can observe a clue as to where things goes. I find myself relying more and more on the packaging than the unclear instructions when transforming a TF for the first time.

One thing I love to do is to take a deluxe and transfrom him while on the crapper instead of reading a newspaper.

So, I have yet to find a new TF that will boggle my mind.

ROTF leader Optimus Prime and DOTM leader Sentinel Prime. All those truck exterior pieces on Sentinel are really annoying to line up correctly going into vehicle mode.

My top 3:
1. Mp megatron;
2. Rotf leader op;
3. Alternator wheeljack.

I don't own mp rodimus, but I've seen the transformation thru YouTube. I believe it would've been on my list had i owned one.

Let's raise that thread from the dead to see if anyone changed their mind or if there's something new that is hard as balls to transform.

Newcomers, just post your personal list and explain why for each TFs. We're not here to judge TF transforming skills. We're here to have fun!

Recently, I bought Cybertron Crosswise. He's not that hard to transform but without instructions, it was quite a challenge to see what should go where first from robot to vehicle. Also, his transformation is very finniky with lots of panels that get in the way. This dude feel like the long lost RiD 4th :BOT: car brother!

Movie Leader Sentinel Prime, robot-to-truck transformation

The Japanese Alternity series TFs are small but complicated on the level of a MP. I had to check the instructions for Bumblebee, which is VERY unusual for me. I broke my Alternity Starscream b/c I thought I didn't need directions. :( any of the MP line are difficult, especially Megatron. Almost all of the TFs mentioned in the previous posts seem simpler to me in comparison. The 3rd party Hearts of Steel Shockwave is also very tricky, excellent figure. Another is the Japan-only movie Optimus with removable armor for cybertron mode or earth mode, the truck is really tricky. I recently got MP Soundwave and changed him to cassette player w/out instructions. :) I have about 1800 TFs, had plenty of practice!

4. Animated Jazz...he's hard to transform from vehicle to robot, mainly because of the legs in the trunk section.

Hey Kanrabat, 2 years later, you can finally see what Autobot-Hellstriker was talking about when he referred to Cybertron Smokescreen since you finally have that mold. I wouldnt call him overly difficult but he sure is very odd for the cybertron line. He feels more like one of the RID brothers which also populate this thread.

Also, I find that animated is the one series where going from robot to alt mode is as difficult or easy both ways, which is very rare for vehicle alt modes.

Nope, no changes here. Still have yet to meet a TF whose conversion is anything but mildly annoying, but then my collecting habits have died down tremendously as time goes on. I will say that the MP Fremble mold annoys the ever living crap out of me though, as I swear to Primus when I got them their tape modes fit together perfectly, and now they're kind of stuck inside their cassette cases. :BANG_HEAD:

Of note, did you ever conquer Generations Wheeljack? I can't for the life of me understand how, after all the advice and pictures, you couldn't have figured it out. I mean, I just did it on memory and aside from a brief slip up I got it nailed.

1. RotF Leader Optimus Prime
2. DotM Leader Sentinel Prime
3. RotF Leader Jetfire
4. RotF Voyager Mixmaster
5. Classics Galvatron

Man, looking at my list, Hasbro's goal to simplify the new movie line makes a lot more sense. Those movie leaders are some of my favorites, though, even if they're a pain to transform.

While I agree with Sentinel Prime since he is the figure I find most complex so far, I find Jetfire at odds with the level of difficulty you are mentioning.

He is annoying with all his panels to become a jet again, and that is a legitimately hard and lengthy process, so I see it on your list and would add it to mine. But I wouldnt call it complex. You see, there are 2 ways a transformer can be hard, by having lots of steps or by having annoying and frustrating steps. And while Sentinel has a bit of both, Jetfire is all about annoying and frustrating panels.

He isn't complex at all though. Transforming him to robot takes a minute or 2 at most while transforming Sentinel takes a good while (the feet alone, wow).

Has any of the Prime: First Edition been mentioned? I have Optimus Prime and Terrorcon Cliffjumper (both in clear plastic :-s ) and they're quite intricate. I can imagine Bulkhead being complicated as well, based on a review I saw of him.
