The cartoon continuity, or the comic continuity?Mindmaster wrote:The entirety of the Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon, and Cybertron).
Despite it being obvious favoritism, I do kinda like how the Simon Furman-penned "Transformers: The Ultimate Guide" book had most of its info written in regards to the Dreamwave G1 comics, enabling that unfinished continuity to have a lot more of its blanks filled and expanded upon even beyond the comics themselves.Mkall wrote:I absolutely loved the G1 lore that Dreamwave was building. I'm really sad that they went belly up, though given what we know now, it was only a matter of time.

That would technically be a continuity family rather than a single continuity.Mindmaster wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The cartoon continuity, or the comic continuity?Mindmaster wrote:The entirety of the Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon, and Cybertron).

But, as far as the cartoons go, you are aware of the evident flaws in the Armada dub and the Energon everything, yes?

G1's cartoon wasn't a nightmarish rush job loathed by the production staff and actors.Mindmaster wrote:Buttloads of errors in Generation One, doesn't stop it from being loved.

the tech-specs and comic came before the cartoon.

I don't even consider headmasters to be fully part of G1 even though they showed up at the very end (and in my opinion, helped kill the cartoon).

I love G1 just because. And as far as BWs,they're from the same family. I do NOT,however, like Beast Machines...nope...not one bit.
