Yeah, there are worse figures. But it's a big step down and costs more. RTS Jazz cost, what, 10 bucks? It's a huge difference in value.

I like FoC Jazz a lot more than I thought I would. In fact, I absolutely LOVE his vehicle mode. It's quite spiffy. The bot mode is kinda meh.

My biggest gripe about this figure other than the size is the fact that they made the ankle joints move only one way. If they made it so the foot was able to rotate forward, bringing the instep towards the shin, he could have a more realistic stance with his knees bent slightly. As it is, he can only stand absolutely straight legged, thus completely negating the benefit of the knee joints. As such, it really draws attention to the shorter legs and the afore-mentioned gorilla-like proportions.

craggy wrote:FOC Jazz looks like a pretty nice little Scout class toy. I still say he reminds me of Pretender Jazz. He's nowhere near as cool an alt mode as MTMTE part 1 Cybertron mode Jazz and the robot mode is a step or 3 down from the RTS Jazz. I've no need for him, really. Might get "Sideswipe" as my Classics Lightspeed.

That's an interesting idea. I don't have FoC Jazz because he looks too plain for my liking, but other than that I can't say I dislike the figure......he just looks boring, like DOTM Sideswipe boring, and so I don't feel any real need to get one. But, just like DOTM SS, were a chance to arise for a repaint to fill a place in my collection like Darksteel did, well, then. I just may have to get me one.
