What was planned for TFA before it was cancelled?

I really liked TFA and it was a shame that it was cancelled. What exactly was planned for it before the plug was pulled?

Some of the loose ends or cliffhangers were:

Swindle escaped capture along with a couple of the Starsceam clones (Skywarp, Thundercracker, Sunstorm, Slipstream(I think, is that all?)

Soundwave escaped again to come back eventually

Shockwave, Blitzwing, and Lugnut were captured along with a couple of the SS clones

Megatron was captured and heavily damaged

Ultra Magnus; still in coma

Black Ariacnia and Waspinator were teleported 'somewhere' (Beast Wars planet?? I get the reference but it doesn't make sense)

Optimus Prime and co. were promoted to the Elite Guard(?)

Sentinel Prime; elected to be next 'Magnus'(?)

Thats all I can think of at the moment. The reason I ask is that I've thought about writing a fanfiction for TFA.

Megatron would escape and become a Triple Changer and Ultra Magnus was confirmed to be dead. The Allspark Almanac II and the Transformers Wiki confirm this.

And the Animated Stunticons were supposed to come around as well, but since the show was cancelled (horrible decision, I think) they became BotCon exclusives. There was also talk of continuing the TFA story in comic form, but that stalled.

Not to mention the constructicons and what was to happen to the elite gaurd team led by Rodimus Minor. And Prowl being alive or dead. Lockdown, Dinobots, It goes on and on...

I thought all of the Club and BotCon toys were outside of Hasbro's design team?

Hasbro didn't have plans for the toys at the time, because the Stunticons were way down the line in the story. But after the series got cancelled, the toys got made (rather, repainted) as the BotCon set. This is according to Derek Wyatt, with whom I chatted at last year's BotCon. He told me there were plans to continue the series in comic form. Maybe it was wishful thinking on his part.

I believe it was eith the G1 series continued or TFA continued. Looks like Furman won out.

As much as I loved TFA, I love G1 just a little more, so I'm glad to have that result. But it would have been nice to have gotten both.

Lots of stuff was planned for season 4, but the Stunticon stuff was made for BotCon, not season 4 (hence the BotCon 2011 comic being called "season 3.5").

"Magnus" is such a dumb sounding title. If one of his names had to be a title, it should have been "Ultra." That way, Sentinel Prime would have become Ultra Sentinel instead of Sentinel Magnus. Though Ultra Rodimus sounds just as stupid as Rodimus Magnus.
