What was the best part about the third movie?

Postby Lord Scurge » Sun Aug 07, 2011 9:46 pm

For me it was seeing humans work for the Decepticons however by far Megatron's conversation with Carly was the best part because I feel like we got to see his and pardon my choice of words "humanity" or rather his "transformity". I feel this way because something about his state of being made him seem for sympathetic I guess am I the only one who feels this way?

For me at least, the best parts of DOTM were the opening prologue scene on Cybertron, Buzz Aldrin talking to the Autobots, and Nimoy as the voice of Sentinel Prime. Beyond that, though, the movie felt pretty pedestrian to me.

Overall I think it captured the spirit of Transformers better than the other two. This felt more like Transformers to me. Good sci-fi, good action, and a good story.

The scene where Carly and megatron "chat", any scene with the Wreckers, the "no prisoners, only trophies" scene, The scene where Optimus attempts to hand the Matrix over to Sentinel, and Highway scene.

To me that chat woth Carly and Megs wasn't very interesting.

For starters in tf1 megatron despised the human race and continued that on in ROTF, but in dotm he didn't show much threat to humans such as Carly, he would of killed her by then and not let her live.

Btw best part for me was the only action shockwave really made, shooting at prime and tangling him. I also loved ironhides death  chernobyl scene, highway fight and ques death. i like other scenes but i wont go into depth with those :D

I think ROTF felt more like Transformers than DOTM did.

I feel as if DOTM had classic transformers storyline which I enjoyed more then ROTF. But that's just me.

Well, all 3 movies where practically based on episodes from G1. Like Hoover dam in the first movie, the Sun Harvester in ROTF, and humans working with the Decepticons in DOTM. They where all concepts from G1 episodes.
